A lot of you guys have expressed some very realistic and valid concerns about the status of your Macintosh Plus “Judgement Day” merchandise orders placed in early 2014. I have been struggling for a long time now to find an ample opportunity to sit down and explain things publicly, but after undergoing some much-needed rearranging in my life, I think I’ve finally found the means to start building a concrete plan to repair the situation. I think everybody probably agrees at this point that an update is long overdue.

Currently, I don’t possess the funds from the preorders. I’ve moved about six times since April and during that period found myself faced with the very real possibility of being on the street or in a shelter on more than one occasion, so using those funds to sustain until things stabilized became a bit of an imperative.

Logically speaking, the obvious response to all this would be to ask “what happens from here?” - I think the most important thing I can say at this point is that everybody’s order will indeed be sent out with time. Nobody has been overlooked or ignored - I am not here to scam anybody and have no intention whatsoever of letting that happen. It upsets me to know that I’ve compromised peoples’ trust - that I’ve allowed a perception to grow that I would ever take advantage of you guys. It’s going to take a lot of grinding and a bit of ingenuity to make up for my losses, but these past months I’ve been working myself mad to get on the fast track to paying off those dues. I’ve begun DJing, freelancing, accepting odd jobs in the art/media field, producing for and licensing my work to businesses… but it’s an ongoing process. There were a lot of orders - the cost of producing them all is equivalent to more than two months worth of the wages I made working full-time in retail. It would be unrealistic to expect that maintaining that cycle would somehow yield enough excess income to cover those costs on its own, especially given my circumstances with housing.

I really appreciate all your guys’ understanding and continued support in the wake of this fiasco. I’m so stoked to get these orders in your hands as soon as things get moving. I have some enormous announcements on the horizon and I hope you guys are as excited as I am. Stay tuned x
