Even here, I look at my feed, and it's Ukrainian mutuals talking about what's going on and non-Ukrainian ones just waiting it out. Waiting us out.

In one of the torture chambers, the russian occupiers had set up a so-called ‘children’s cell’ which consisted of nothing more than three thin foam mats on the floor.

This was announced at a press conference by Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights.

The children were given water every other day, were barely fed and subjected to psychological pressure: they were told that their parents had abandoned them.

Those who were held in these torture chambers testify that everyone knew the children were being tortured.

One boy spent 90 days in one of the torture chambers. He was cut with a knife, had parts of his body burned, and was taken out to be shot, they fired over his head.

Today, Ukrainians all around the world wear their vyshyvankas in celebration of our culture's perseverance! Before you ask, yes, you can wear a vyshyvanka, too! Though it would be best if you could buy it from a Ukrainian manufacturer.

Earlier this year the museum underwent some big repairs and updates and expansions in its display, and I was already making plans to go there within weeks.

And then russia destroyed it. The entire historical building it was in. Part of the building turned into ruins.

First they destroy things. And then they destroy even the memory if the things they destroyed earlier.

📍Мер Києва повідомив, що в столиці вже 2 загиблих та 62 постраждалих внаслідок атаки ворога. 30 із них перебувають в стаціонарах міських лікарень. У тому числі, двоє дітей. 📍У Білій Церкві на Київщині московити завдали удару балістичною ракетою середньої дальності РС-26 «Рубіж» («Орєшнік»), що підтвердив начальник управління комунікацій Повітряних сил ЗСУ Ігнат. Внаслідок ворожого удару пошкоджені гаражний кооператив та будівлі підприємства. В мережі поширюється відео удару, яке дуже розгнівало російське нацистське суспільство — вони незадоволені малою, на їх думку, кількістю жертв та завданих руйнувань, тому називають це "безпомічним феєрверком" замість "вдарити як слід".

📍У Бучанському та Обухівському районах загинули 2 чоловіки.

📍У Фастівському районі травмовано 5 людей.

▪️ Зафіксовано пошкодження житлових будинків, підприємств, складів, амбулаторії, закладу освіти та автомобілів у кількох районах області.

📍У Черкасах через прильоти дронів "Шахед" постраждали 11 людей, серед них — 2 дітей; пошкоджено три багатоповерхівки.

📍На Одещині під атакою ворога опинилася база відпочинку в селі Маяки. Внаслідок удару поранення отримали дев’ятеро людей, серед них — троє дітей віком від 8 до 12 років. Семеро постраждалих госпіталізовані, один дорослий перебуває у важкому стані.

📍На Полтавшині 2 дні поспіль рашисти атакували два промислові об’єкти у Миргородському районі, — ДСНС. Спалахнуло одразу на кількох локаціях. Всі займання ліквідовані. Без жертв та постраждалих.

📍На Харківщині орки атакували Богодухів: 66-річного чоловіка та 68-річну жінку шпиталізували з вибуховими пораненнями. Внаслідок атаки у місті пошкоджені 15 автомобілів та вікна багатоквартирного будинку.

As always no one bothered to ask how actual Iranians feel about events in their own country so let me clarify:

We have been praying for this attack since the revolution started in December and the evil mullah regime killed 60000+ of our people in just two days

We are celebrating the death of Khamanei

This is not a war for us, we consider it a rescue mission. The casualties of IR remaining in power would be much more than this so called war

And yes, US and Israel are actually only targeting regime centers. If they really wanted to harm civilians they would have acted the same way the regime acted in December by blindly shooting people with military weapons

If you stand by Iranians, listen amplify our voices instead of playing in the regime’s court

There were no airstrikes in my area tonight (thankfully), but I read that russia is launching another massive air raid before falling asleep, the usual "missiles are entering our airspace." Because of that, I had one of those super-realistic nightmares: we were lying in our bed, heard the whistle of a missile approaching, braced ourselves for the impact, but then it was just silence, and I woke up before the hit. My limbs were heavy and paralyzed for a few seconds.

“I’m upset. Since 2024, at every start I raise my skis and always show this inscription. It’s been in every broadcast. And for two years no one told me to remove it.”

Ukrainian athlete also said that the organizers asked her to erase these words from her skis before her final performance in Italy.

“It hurts me a lot, because I didn’t write it for nothing. I don’t want popularity — I just have my own story, and my heart hurts too. When I showed the words ‘Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine’ on camera, there was a lot of hate, people saying I wanted money and so on. I didn’t pay attention to it, but then Enver Nazimovych [my coach] was told that I had to erase it,” Angelina said on the YouTube channel Glyvynskyi Pro Sport.

The 21-year-old Ukrainian explained why she was not ready to follow the path of skeleton athlete Vladyslav Heraskevych, who was disqualified for intending to compete in a “helmet of remembrance,” and spoke about her difficult feelings about this choice:

“I erased it. We can argue about it, but when you train for four years and come here knowing the next chance will be in four years… throwing away all that work isn’t an option either. I believe you can compete first and then show it. I’m young, I want to stay in this sport, and I’m not planning to end my career.

If I knew that in two years, or even two months, I would finish anyway, then maybe I could argue. But I want to keep doing freestyle skiing and represent our country with dignity on the international level, so I won’t do that,” Brykina said.

It should be noted that in the first qualification Angelina performed a jump after which she showed the inscription on her skis — “Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”

Pavlo Brykin, the athlete’s father, had been fighting in eastern Ukraine since 2015. He was a grenadier in the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade. Before the full-scale war he worked as a rescuer. He mobilized in the first days of the full-scale invasion.

Pavlo died on August 6, 2022, from wounds received in a battle with an enemy sabotage-reconnaissance group near the village of Blahodatne in Mykolaiv region. He left behind five children and his wife.

Personally, I understand how difficult this choice was for a young athlete, and I sympathize with her. As I wrote in another post, unfortunately, there is No medal for resistance:
