Not me forgetting that minors follow my tumblr… uh…maybe don’t. At least if you’re below 18 as that’s the age restriction on the games I’m currently hyperfixating over. I'm just a slime trying to survive through the wasteland we call the internet. Come join me if you dare.
Learning more about the lore is learning just how messed up some of the SM cast is.
On this episode, we are calling out my boy, my man, my fav. Damien.
Damien can be really fucking manipulative in the first game, my god...
The obvious example is Diana's intentions during the backstory part of the Diana arc. He doesn't even say that he doesn't know her intentions. No. He confidently says that it's not about saving her kingdom and is instead about the power. We know that's not true in the slightest. He just straight up lied.
But the other example is one that was supposedly (I got this from a secondary source so take it with a grain of salt. I believe em though) is that prologue scene where it seemed like Erik was planning something dirty, James was like “Erik no…” and Erik claimed he wasn’t going to do anything but Damien followed that up with saying “Yes he was.”
Damien lied about that. Erik truly had no bad intentions. But he wasn't questioned at all, Erik didn't even try to argue. Because Erik seemed like he would do that. And Diana could be portrayed as a gold digger really easily.
After all, who would doubt the mind reader?
This is basically lost in the second game where Damien loses his mind reading and becomes more physically confrontational (I will never forget the scene of Damien literally hopping out of bed to slam Diana into the wall. Like Jesus) and less indirect.
The biggest act of flanderization in this fandom is believing that Damien is just an "UwU tragic bean".
I love my boy but he casually manipulates his brothers, takes sadistic glee is fucking with Malix before tearing him apart limp from limp, damn near choked Diana when she lied about the mind reading and fucking decapitates his father.
I'm going back to this older post I made because I have ✨More Opinions!!✨
Okay so I love my boy but thinking more on this specific topic, you wanna know what itches my brain? The fact that I feel like something got changed during the writing of Damien's character.
This started with me thinking that all of Damien's seemingly manipulative moments seemed very retroactive. No foreshadowing, no consequences. Just an attempt to make Diana look sympathetic with her kingdom invasion backstory that had the side effect of making Damien look malicious by using his credibility as a mind reader to dissuade his brothers when they were right on the money about her intentions.
…Then I thought on it more and there is one line, one piece of evidence (that I can verify) that makes me wonder if that really was just an unfortunate retcon.
"Damien was a wild card. I didn't really know what to expect from him"
Yeah I guess being quiet could make you a wild card but it just feels so out there as a line for such a mild mannered character, especially since this is pre-Malix.
So I have a theory. A crack theory but a theory. I don't think Damien was always intended to be a woobie character, not fully at least. I think he was truly meant to seem mild mannered but when you pull back the layers a lot of complexities would have been shown, including making the fact that he's willing to lie on someone's intentions more clear and that so-called "closest brother to becoming a yandere" fact that was only learnt via the tumblr posts.
However, seeing the short run time of the game, that didn't happen. Instead his sympathetic traits were emphasized and his actual wild card nature wasn't implemented much. Thus leading to him being considered the cinnamon roll character and Micky just running with it.
This is 10pm, tired as fuck thoughts if you couldn't tell.

I really only call them "random" because this isn't my main subject, I just felt like doing it.
Everyone welcome to the stage, Rabbit!
Oh this poor woman. She's got Damien levels of trauma so uh TW: SA, racism and slavery.
I imagine that she's in her late 30s to early 40s and is the oldest of the Rebel Leaders. She had a son that would be roughly 21(human) years old by now. I say "had" because he got taken away when he was 5 and she never saw him again.
Honestly I wanted there to be strong parallels between Rabbit and Damien hence why she was aged up to around Omaizel's age and why Imma say that Rabbit's son had darker hair. It's like looking in a mirror reflecting the timelines where mother or son escaped.
There are also some canon design choices that I decided to give a physical look to. She had to wear a breeding collar with spikes in them and she worn it for so long that the spikes became blunt so I added neck scars where the spikes would have been and she apparently got her mouth cut but we never get to see the described scar soooo now we do.
Finally there's the complete fanon addition of her scarf. The symbols on it mean something as it was given to her by a different Rebel Leader when her old mask was lost. Sergeant. Through having to analyze and slightly rewrite these guys I realized that Rabbit and Sarg honestly go together quite well being the calm, sweet woman with secretly a lot of rage and the seemingly wrathful man with a lot more control and nuance when you get to know him.
There is also the sense of Rabbit feeling jealous of Sergeant's position. He's respected and feared by all who approach him, people don't look down upon him like they look down upon an animal demon like her who has to always act with maturity else others claim she's "going feral". At least, she thinks that before Sarg notes his own bouts of racism. Being one of two pure brutes alive means people obviously compare him to the Eastern King and wonder when he's going to snap. He himself can be envious on how she seemingly handles every aggression with a level head meanwhile he must rely on his strength and position to keep people in line.
One of these days I'll just write a long ramble about Erik including the AUs he stars in. Because as much as I stick by my view than canon Erik is mid, he doesn't have to be.

Okay so Sam is part dragon but he doesn't know it. Yall think he has a hoard of gems but doesn't like call it a hoard? (This idea was basically taken from @nelcorecreations so give her a look!)
It's his collection or his stash and if anyone asks why he's like: "I dunno. They look nice."
Someone tries to touch the hoard and Sam gets REALLY defensive. Literally swatting their hand.
...
You think he'd put his lover amongst the hoard every now and then? (Assuming this is a timeline where the MC is in the castle as there wouldn't be as much space for a hoard in the human world) Just puts Mika or whoever on the stash of coins and gems. Truly makes the collection complete.
from what i've seen & remember, the history you've created between Omaizel and Laura has only been offhandedly mentioned, so this is me just saying i am SO interested in that history!! obviously, if you don't really want to post about it, don't feel pressured, but if you do want to & haven't out of some worry about lacking interest from the rest of the Seduce Me community, then don't let that hold you back. i am Fascinated by this part of your lore
(also, i just Adore everything you post; you're art is amazing and so is all of your lore!! i would literally just sit a read a master doc about your version of Seduce Me if i could)
Well thank you! And sure, I can expand on that.
In my universe, Laura has a pretty big change. She is a nephalim, the daughter of an angel and human man. After some heavy sacrifices, she was allowed to be raised amongst the angels but never felt at home. At the human age of 18 she decided that she wanted to go to the human world and find her father. Maybe amongst the humans, she would find her place.
Angels are born with all the knowledge they'll ever need to know and no capacity to learn. But as a half-human, Laura could learn. So she picked up any book she could find and eventually found a gate spell. With no anchor, it would take her to a random location that she didn't recognize. She thought it was the human world, it was not. Instead, she landed in the Abyssal Plains. She knew next to nothing about demons and after being successfully tricked by one, she was sold off to the Eastern King and Queens. At the time, there were two queens and one prince. The one with yellow taint, seemingly the queen, saw use for her and advised her husband to keep her alive so that they could harvest her magic for holy weapons.
In the dungeon cells she was thrown, locked away in a place she didn't understand. And that's when she met someone new. A young woman only a couple years older than her. A beautiful woman with long blonde hair and void like eyes. Her name was Omaizel.
For three demon years the two conversed, bonded even. Omaizel, at the time, was a woman with a lot of fire in her. A crafty lady that managed to use what little authority she had to make her imprisonment easier. For example, she would distract servant with menial commands so that Laura could sneak them some food from the kitchen. But years of abuse at the hands of the King was taking its toll on both women.
Laura had even tried to escape once, tried to get help. For that, she lost her eyes and her wing. Meanwhile, Omaizel planned something quieter. Through a series of trades, she managed to get her hands on a relic of the Scalloped Seas. A large necklace of pearls, gold, shells and even a radiant spinel in the center. Omaizel knew, the second queen would do about anything for any relic of her past so she intended to bribe her for freedom. But when she saw her friend, now wingless and injured beyond healing, Omaizel knew if she left, Laura would die here. It would be a decision that would cost Omaizel everything but she slid the necklace over to Laura and told her that if she had any strength to move that she needed to leave. That's her only chance at survival.
With a heavy heart, Laura accepted it and weakly hobbled her way to the second queen. She offered the necklace as she was instructed and the queen told her of a secret passage that led to the kingdom of Belladium. So Laura escaped, she managed to used the spell again with the last of her strength and actually made it to the human world this time, where she would meet David.
To Omaizel, Laura was a good friend. A person that didn't deserve to be there and a kindhearted girl that helped her stay sane during one of the worst periods of her stay in the Eastern Kingdom. She would eventually devolve as a person, her trauma and mental issues crushing her under its weight, but those were still positive memories she clung to.
To Laura, Omaizel was insanely clever and strong. She was her savior and showed that demons weren't all bad or cruel. Hell, there may have even been some love there but Laura doesn't fully know, nor does she let herself dwell on feelings that she would never pursue now that she has a husband and children. Had Laura been a stronger person, she would have gone back to Omaizel. But she just couldn't. Every time the thought came to mind, she froze.
It's a tragedy in a way. In a different life, under different circumstances, they may have remained close. But the cards fell in the ways they did. No point in wondering what if...
Wanna hear some bullshit demon politics that I was discussing with my friend on Discord?
No? Well too bad. I'm doing it anyway.
Now, these politics are not universal but think of them like Western politics where it originated in one area (The Moonlit Kingdom/Lilith Castle) and spread out everywhere to varying degrees of success.
Like a lot of actual bullshit politics(and yes, specifically bullshit politics), my philosophy for the bullshit demon politics is "It's probably not based in science or reality but based in a group of people's attempts to gain and maintain power"
Okay TW: We're talking about politics, fictional politics but politics. And royal politics on top of that. Yall know that comes with a lot of violence, genocide, discrimination, slavery and propaganda right? You do now.
We're going over 4 things:
Polygamy vs Polyamory vs Harem Culture
Why they are a majority matriarchy and how the Eastern Kingdom has probably changed things forever
Bullshit racial superiority
Bullshit genetic superiority even in the same race
This is gunna be a long one.
1) Let's start with Polygamy because frankly it's barely practiced. Like, at all. Of the two, Polyandry (One wife, multiple husbands) is the more common occurrence with Polygyny (One husband, multiple wives) only having one instance where that happened, The Eastern King. But even with that said, it's not common whatsoever mainly because of the division and backstabbing and drama that comes with it.
The most common royal set up is a harem system. Usually with a queen, her husband (the king or royal consort depending on the kingdom), her main concubine, and a harem of men and women of various backgrounds. Once upon a time, similarly the human harems, a harem was less a rotation of partners and more a sanctuary of "protected individuals" created by a (kinda) benevolent ruler that wanted to give her slaves and lower servants a place they couldn't be harassed by upper-class servants, staff, ladies in waiting, etc. However, that empress has long since passed and her ideas got commodified by less benevolent rulers to serve their wants.
Pure polyamory is surprisingly rare. To be fair pure any of these systems are rare as the culture for commoners is less about sticking to a group of people and more a free for all. The simplicity of monogamy makes it easier to manage children in theory. Is it loyal monogamy like human relationships are (theoretically) supposed to be? N o. Almost everyone has relations outside of their main partner but they tend to have a singular main partner.
2) Why is the Abyssal Plains a majority matriarchy? The short answer, Lilith. The long answer: Lilith is the creator of Succubi and Incubi. Through generations of indoctrination, conquest, marriage alliances, and some strong propaganda, Lilith demons became the most common demon type and the majority race of royalty. Most of that propaganda was spread using Lilith as their major figurehead, emphasizing how she birthed a new nation of prosperity and unity. Within many kingdoms developing a strong value of mothers. Giving birth became such an important part of the culture that it essentially made women more valuable than men.
This gender bias goes all the way to the top and is why many royals prefer daughters over sons as they are considered the mothers of the kingdom and metaphorically birthed the nation. There's a distaste for making sons into kings and allowing a foreign woman to be queen as that would be metaphorically birthing a new nation. Yes, they could pull the classic royal move of incest and they probably have but that doesn't end well and I think demons figured that out so women bias it is.
There's also one more piece of propaganda that spread from this gender bias: It's the belief that women need to choose a husband and her other partners rather than the other way around because they carry the child and will choose the father well. Meanwhile men are so terminally horny that if you give them enough time and loneliness, they'll fuck a rock. How are they supposed to choose the right women and not just spread their genes haphazardly? And the Eastern King did not make this propaganda any better...
Now, predictably, the Eastern Kingdom has strongly divided people due to the King's practices. The immediate result would be the sharp and harsh return to form but even stricter. Only girls on the throne, no man can be king, only consorts. Lilith genes only. Oh if the brutes were alive they would be hella subjugated. But they're dead so...
However, this wouldn't last. People did support the Eastern King as unlikely as it sounds. Some people, mainly men, got power they were never allowed to have. Diana will be able to soothe the oncoming gender war but it will linger far past her death and her children will have to suffer the consequences. Eventually leading to the Abyssal Plains becoming a primogeniture (Aka a lack of gender bias) for the most part. So uh... yay? Like a very tentative yay.
3) For similar reasons on why the Abyssal Plains is a matriarchy, it's a mostly Lilith Demon ruled world. It does make sense that the sex demons with the abilities of lowkey mind control would find their way to the top and the most common race. But yknow... a little genocide never hurts. Well, except for the race of people being killed and enslaved at mass but they don't talk about that!
Currently, there is a strict racial hierarchy. From top to bottom it's: Lilith, Shadow, Brute (Pre Genocide), Golem, Fae, Animal. This comes from perceived power. Lilith, Shadow and Brute are three that have very obvious magic. Like yknow, funky lil spells. Golems and Animal magic are more based on their natural forms with only variants of incredible power. They are powerful in their own right due to their natural powers but it's not usually flashy so they get shafted.
Fae are tricky. They have flashy powers like the rest but they're more despised for it. Many lilith rulers fear the fae. It's hard to pin them down, hard to bind them to anything, VERY difficult to enslave them, the fae tend to outlive them, they can see worlds lilith demons can't, and the fae are so secretive about their spells and potions. There's a whole world of power most lilith demons can't access and with the fae being the most difficult race to breed with, it's just downright inconvenient to try and make a hybrid. This gets them hated more than they are respected. Treated as liars and tricksters. And while there is some truth to that, it's blown out of proportion. If any racial group could overtake the Lilith Demons it would be the fae as soon as they can find a way to get over the whole "Difficult to interbreed" thing.
4) This is more miscellaneous but there are a lot of arbitrary rules that Lilith demons have for the sake of differentiation and further superiority. The two examples I'm giving are the multihorn thing and the runt thing.
The "multihorn thing" is pretty straight forward. Some demons can be born outside of the two horns normalcy. They either have no horns like Saero, one horn, or more than two up to a documented four horned succubus. Naturally, this led people to believe that there is genetic superiority in having multiple horns and inferiority to having one or no horns especially if you're a horned raced. Part of this propaganda led to popular depictions of Lilith giving her five horns and writings describing her with "A crown of horns". None of this is true.
There is no magical causation between having any amount of horns. There is correlation but that is only because multihorned kids get top tier education and unicorns (as the one horned demons are called) or no horned kids get untrained as people assume they'll be failures. In reality, it is all genetic mutations that do not affect magic in the slightest.
The "runt thing" is similarly misunderstood. Due to another case of genetic mutation or even just malnourishment, some people end up being runts. Aka stunted growth. They usually look younger, tend to be thinner, are shorter with shorter horns and weaker magic. This leads people to think that they're infertile or mentally slow or will pass on the runt gene and... kind of? But mostly no.
If a demon has stunted growth due to malnourishment then yes, they can end up a bit infertile or mentally stunted because they are malnourished. They can also seemingly "pass on the gene" if they do have kids because their kids are likely to be malnourished. This is obvious with two seconds of science but the don't believe in that shit.
As for if they're born like this, then basically everything goes out the window. They're not infertile, any mental illnesses they have are completely separate from why they're stunted and there is no such gene they can pass to their children. They aren't even guaranteed to be weaker in magic because, if given a chance to hone their powers, they can basically unlock their repressed powers though this is rare.
Matthew is the quintessential example of "This runt stuff is bullshit". Of all the boys, he is capable of having the most kids (due to coming from a family line that tends to have 5 kids minimum), he is the most magically powerful (though he had to unlock that power in a moment of high stress), and he's debatably the most mentally stable and second most booksmart right behind James. Where he lacks is his physicality because being able to override the runt mutation didn't do that much for his height, weight or muscle mass.
Almost none of it is true or based in reality or science but it doesn't have to be. Make up enough lies and it becomes true in the eyes of everyone.
TW: Abuse, Suicide, Slavery, and Implied Incest
This is Damien we're talking about. Yall know he's traumatized. Also this is gunna be a bit long. Two pieces of lore are complex.
The final one. The Bastard Son.
Part 1: James
Part 2: Erik
Part 3: Sam
Part 4: Matthew
Part 5: Damien
Getting clothes at all was a mercy brought upon by his brothers. Unfortunately, they had to play it safe. They couldn't just give him their clothes or someone will notice and get angry.
His hair was cut quite short for the sake of it not being pulled on... and another reason we'll get to.
The chains he wears are not only a symbol of his slave status but also imbued with barrier magic. Up until Harold arrived, he physically couldn't leave the palace grounds.
And then there's the choker necklace duo. The ruby and shell shape indicative of the red quarters. When Uzaeris was younger, he begged his mother to help Izroul in some way. Kalipo hardly cared for the bastard but she played along to better manipulate her son. This is where the Ruby Pavilion was formed. She made a harem but took more inspiration from the original definition rather than the current. It was more a sanctuary where only herself, her son and those within the harem could enter. And that's where she placed Izroul.
He never bothered to spend much time there though. The others within her protection hated him as much as everyone else did. At least the choker kept most people at bay.
What most don't see is the real reason behind Izroul's hair being cut so short. Once upon a time, he had longer hair, down to his back. He wore it with pride especially as he shared a mutation with his mother, one that turned their hair a light blonde as it grew out. After his mother took her life, he sat in the dungeons wrapped in her bloodied sheet. It was all he had left of her.
(This is the implied incest part BTW. Be warned.)
One day, the dungeon had visitors. The King and the Prince. The King was furious; axe in hand, he planned on ending the life the bastard who took his succubus away from him. Raestrao, ever the good brother, was desperately trying to convince his father otherwise but no argument was working. Izroul had long since expected this, accepted it in a way. The most he worried about was the pain. But then, as he felt his father's shadow loom over him, the King paused... He wasn't opening the cell door, he wasn't yelling at the boy. He was silent. Izroul's mind reading activated to answer the silent question of "Why?"
Wrapped in her sheet, having her hair, her taint, her skin, her face. When the King looked at Izroul, he saw Omaizel. His eyes looked up to his father in abject horror. The man looked almost solemn. This was truly the worst thing that could happen.
It seemed Raestrao noticed it too as, when the King chose to leave Izroul alone and alive, he immediately rushed upstairs coming back down with a pair of scissors. A little bit of dissonance could be tolerated, almost welcomed, if it would keep Izroul alive. Too much and... Raestrao wouldn't have it. So he cut all of the blonde out of Izroul's hair leaving it shoulder length and completely black. It was a harsh loss but deemed necessary. And it seemed to work. The King never attempted to kill Izroul again but he saw Izroul as Izroul.
TW: Experimentation and Bodily Harm (technically self harm but not for the usual self harm reasons.)
Fourth son is finally down. One more to go!
Part 1: James
Part 2: Erik
Part 3: Sam
Part 4: Matthew
Part 5: Damien
As if meant to be the opposite of his slightly older brother, Zecaeru is the most incubus of his brothers by far. His taint, extends down to even his hands, reflecting Lilith far more than the average succubus.
Ironically, this family-that is seemingly so close to the ever provocative Lilith-is the most conservative attire wise. Covered from head to toe in garments that flaunt their wealth not necessarily by gems and jewels but by fabrics of the highest quality and designed to perfection.
He holds a bottle and a jade disk at his hip. The bottle should be filled with water but he often has a potion in there instead. And the jade helps ward off curses.... Like literally. In this AU some stones, jades especially, had great magic conductive properties. Effective at warding off curses.
What no one gets to see, beneath the long sleeves of his hanfu, are the scars from his experimentation. He can make a lot of potions and poisons but for him to make anything he must know what it's made of, hence the beginning of his alchemy. He is not a cruel man, he wouldn't dare experiment on a servant with no choice but to agree. Instead, he is his own test subject. Many MANY failed experiments or risky poisons has left his right arm burned and scarred to the point where even his taint and armor have trouble healing it completely. So he wraps his arm in bandages and lets his sleeve do most of the hiding.
His brothers and mother know of his "hobby" and they all universally hate it. But they can't say much after he managed to save them all from being poisoned many years ago.

Part 1: James
Part 2: Erik
Part 3: Sam
Part 4: Matthew
Part 5: Damien
Of all the sons, he inherited the most brutish traits. He's also the most proud of his brutish origins, even if he hates the man that gave them to him. His taints is asymmetric, trailing like fire up his arms and cutting sharply to his core.
Like his mother, he wears a mask to hide his appearance. It's a cultural thing from the ruined kingdom of Belladium. His mother's kingdom may have been destroyed but he will honor her culture.
His hammer was also a gift from his mother, passed down from generation to generation and now down to him. If he ever has children, they will eventually earn his hammer as well.
No one really knows why he, of all the princes, grew his hair out. He never seemed to value it. Some speculate that it was to spite his father, others believe it was also a Belladium thing like how most other cultures value long hair in both men and women, others still think it's a personal preference. He's never confirmed or denied anything.
What they don't see is the face beneath the mask. The tired eyes of a man that constantly burns himself out. The scars that adorn him, some from attackers, some from his own father. How his mask added to his mystique as, without it, his emotions are on full display. He's running on fumes but he'll never let it show. His mask is his shield.
I am lowkey so tempted to change the Demon Lord's title because "The Demon Lord" sounds goofy as hell. I was thinking something along the lines of "The Eastern King" or just "The King". But I am aware that I am hella impulsive and the other names may be just as goofy so I'll leave it up to a vote.
Do I change the guy's title or keep it how it is?
Keep it "The Demon Lord"
Change it to "The Eastern King"/"The King"
Change it to something else (put it in the comments)
Next up is the second prince, the spare if you will.
Part 1: James
Part 2: Erik
Part 3: Sam
Part 4: Matthew
Part 5: Damien
Remember how I said "In the Eastern Kingdom, More is more"? Yeah he is the quintessential example of that. Jewelry adorns his body, his pants are detailed and made of the highest quality silk, He flaunts even earrings, a rare jewelry item on men in the eastern kingdom. He is the picture of hedonism.
His skin and taint glistens slightly from his merfolk roots, he shows his fins despite not needing to. Sure, he chooses to use legs mostly but that comes from simply the need to travel around the castle. Had he been given a choice, he would use his mer-form as a default.
What you don't see is hidden past the hair that covers his right eye. He was only a teen when he received it. Some people despised the new queens and king, believing them all to be vipers on the Golden Reign. Their attempt that was closest to succeeding was a magma golem's attempt on the second prince and bastard child's lives. That ended with the second prince's face being burned severely. The eye was salvageable but his face was permanently damaged. His mother, unwilling to accept that, shamed him into hiding it.
If he doesn't use glamor to hide it, he uses his hair.

Ah the prince of perfection! The first born and favorite.
Part 1: James
Part 2: Erik
Part 3: Sam
Part 4: Matthew
Part 5: Damien
He wears a cloak similar to his father's since he's the heir. It's the standard practice that any of the boys would wear if they were deemed heir to the throne. James has gotten used to the thing even if he finds it distasteful. The first day he went without it, his neck felt cold.
Dressed to the nines in jewelry, it's meant to elevate him. In the culture of the Eastern Kingdom, more is more. It's not considered gaudy or flamboyant to flaunt your wealth in gold. But it also makes you painfully recognizable and easier to attack with how heavy it can be. It's the prince's shackles. Personally? James doesn't like its weight or restriction.
What you don't see are all the scars on his back from repeated whippings. He wasn't always perfect and the price for such perfection was painful. The cloak plays double duty by hiding all of the abuse that he's suffered, leading others to believe that he was treated the best. He doesn't deny it in order to save face.
Making some new outfits for the boys' demon forms. They're just drafts to get the vibes but I'm currently working on James's full outfit. The biggest thing I'm working on is making them all distinct.
Once each boy is made, I'll go over the details of the outfit changes.
