I don’t think I could handle having a pet because today my coworker friend texted me in the middle of class because their cat might likely have a fatal illness and immediately I felt my heart drop and had to pause class for a minute to collect myself (and respond to them)

Almost accidentally sent a gossipy text about our boss to my entire department group chat instead of the one coworker I was having a gossip text session with and that was almost devastating for me 💀

Today as I was saying goodbye to my sophomores after their final I told them “you might have me again next year so you can’t get rid of me that easily” (because I also teach juniors) and immediately their reaction was “wait are you gonna fail us???” Poor babies no not unless you deserve it 😅😅

I got (jokingly) accused TWICE by students today of copying my final project assignment from my coworker even though I made the final instructions and sent it to them. All because they teach the class earlier in the day than I do 🙃
