I am so in love with this show that it physically pains me, and the only way I know how to pay tribute to things I love is in the form of a cover. So, as there’s no backing and I am terrible with instruments, please enjoy this a cappella medley of (my favourite) beautiful songs of fun home! Also, check the show out or even just the cast recording if you can - it will change your life for the better, I promise you. I am in awe of the cast (Beth Malone, Sydney Lucas and Judy Kuhn in particular leave me a bawling mess of emotions), the writing, the music - it’s all gobsmackingly awesome and real and beautiful.

there’s something about black and white photography that I’ve always been drawn to. I guess it started with bands growing up, it would be the black and white pictures from magazines that I would want on my walls. I guess cause it just leaves so much more to the imagination. My natural habitat is Richmond; I love Richmond area. It’s the coolest place. I go from one spot to another I don’t think I’d ever say I’d settle in one place because I love both. They are both complete polar opposites. LA is totally brand new, it’s like what 100 years old if that, so vast, so big. - Dougie Poynter for 1883 Magazine +

We can get stuck in a routine of being a certain way and I don’t even realize it’s happening and I wouldn’t realize something was wrong. It almost felt like therapy to begin with for that first year and there were no massive intentions of doing anything with it other than enjoying it.”
