Finally brought this idea into being from a shoddy sketch I did last year. I wish I jotted some notes when I sketched it, so I could understand its meaning a little better. I will try to write notes next time I spontaneously start doodling !

I quite liked the original composition, so I didn't change it much; I just went over it with some new lighting/shadow techniques I've learned over the past few months. Might do a time-lapse recording of my process next time if it's of any interest to y'all :p

Revisited an old drawing. Would add more frames to smoothen the animation, but I’m too lazy and am starting to get back problems from drawing too much 😭

Good afternoon 🌾🌻🌿 Here’s my favourite character and appointed kell kitsch mascot, Ruki Tuki, doing their best to help as many lost souls get back on track. 🌱 look for for yer pals!

Started playing around with aftereffects because I was procrastinating from doing other things. This here motion graphic combines a bit of traditional animation (grass, floating pebbles, and squirly-thing in the background) with some cool 3D displacement warps using after effects. Try to ignore the cloud at the bottom- rookie mistake as a result of not putting that layer behind the grass layer :p (I’ve fixed it since). I made several other lil gifs too! I’ll post them over the few next weeks or so ☔️
