Finished reading *The Divided Self* by R. D. Laing. Liked it overall. It's very of its time. Several part wouldn't be in there if it were written now (either because it would likely fall under a different symptom constellation or because they're likely just queer). But sometimes we must go back to the beginning if we want to find how we got where we are. It's typical 1959 psychiatry, and I think it's closer to modern psych than most psychs would want to admit.
