Like many, Im a huge fan of Yvan Bilibin illustrations and paintings, I have been inspired by his amazing work for years now, but never took the time to try to infuse it in my own work. these days, Im trying new methods and ways to start a painting. For this one, even tho I had an idea in mind, I first painted rough blobs of greens, added the character in one go afterwards, and then tried to make sense of everything.

This trend was perfect for Elia and Rebis so I tried my hand at a small animation. It’s the first time I try something like this so it surely won’t be perfect but I had a lot of fun.
