       he probably should have warned the kid he was going to be slightly       manhandled, but dezember doesn’t feel too bad about it. it wasn’t for       very long, even if it wasn’t the most fantastic course of actions for the       kid. what he fails to process, however, is that tobais’ concern comes       more from what’s going on, because dezember forgets that his actions       aren’t always categorized as ‘completely normal’.

       “ I just healed you. If you’d like a full explanation of how that works,         that would take a bit too long. ” it probably wouldn’t, just something         along the lines of ‘solidified enough magic to clot whatever vessel was         broken and imitate epithelial cells’, but dezember would invariably go         too in-depth and he doesn’t really have the patience for that.  

       dezember shrugs dismissively. “ The usual things that happen when       you sneeze with a bloody nose, meaning you make a mess and could       probably pop another blood vessel. I didn’t mean it as a serious       warning, but take it as you will. “

                                ❝ oh? ❞

                      he listens and expects an actual explanation of what                       the other had done to him but instead receives none.                       if the other could have given him some insight, then at                       least he possibly could have put it to use the next time                       this occurred ( as there were certainly going to be many                       more times this would plague him ).

                      maybe, he should break his nose again. not like he hasn’t                       done so before, and now would be as good a time as                       any to collide his fist with his nose ( or a nearby wall - he                       can get creative with this ) to create a similar scene and                       drip more blood onto their surroundings. yet in the same                       moment as the thought occurs to him, he decides against                       it. he probably can’t spare much more blood and all of it                       splattered around can attest to that. 

and don’t give up

whatever you do, don’t give up.
