s3 beginning with no big langdonmel moments just very neutral perhaps them working on a patient together so like a billion other people are always there we don’t really see any signs of friendship at all tbh and it’s kinda like oh ok and then like 4 episodes in someone says something really rude to mel and langdon cuts in with a “what did you just fucking say to her?” and we all go oooooohhhhhhhh

FIRST SCENE SEASON 3 FRANK WALKING IN TO THE ER WITH 2 CUPS IN HIS HAND DANA JOKINGLY REACHING OUT TRYING TO TAKE ONE FRANK GOING “NUH UH” AND TWISTING HIS ARM AWAY AND IMMEDIATELY BEELINING TO MEL CAUSE HE GOT A BOBA FOR HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YIPPEE!!!!!!!

okay okay WAIT maybe I’m off but like …. while obviously people DO transfer during residency Mel being a transfer is very much a rare situation and it’s kinda like….. ofc part of it was setting up becca and finding a good facility for her since that’s such a huge part of mel BUT ALSO…….. could be because the writers wanted to set up the love story of a lifetime…. Because they didn’t want us to see mel and langdon already knowing each other and working together for 2 years…….they want us to see married Langdon meeting mel king and falling in love with her almost immediately and the stark contrast she is in his life….. and to see Melissa king finding a connection she has never felt before with a married man………… and they wanted us to be there for the start of that………or am I wrong

s3 langdon is not going to be as subdued as s2 langdon and more similar to bouncy snarky s1 langdon but only this time him and mel are literally gonna be besties oh god it’s like crack people like crazy juice

so in my head and daydream-y about mel and langdon that sometimes I’m like wow am I just clowning is this even real & am I possibly a crazy person? but just now I scrolled past a gif of Ambulance Bay (as it is formally known) and watched Langdons eyes flick to Mel’s lips while he gulped and I watched that a nice 4-5 times and then I took a DEEP BREATH and yeah no i’m good I’m rooted in reality

can’t explain to you the visions I have of garcia and langdon bffism extending to garcia loving mel DOWN when she realizes how close mel and langdon are like that’s her girlllll and she doesn’t even have it in her to be snarky to mel anymore like she’s so nice and sweet to her that everyone is so confused thinking garcia is hitting on mel like she did with trinity but NOPE garcia just loves mel. that’s her bestie deadass. She might (would) pick mel over Langdon.
