So first I wanted to take the time to apologize for the long wait for me to put something out. I’m at a place in my life where I’m really trying to figure myself out, figure out where I wanna be, where I want to go, what I want to do. I’m still very young + I’m taking my time before releasing something this time. It’s been since January that I’ve released a full track. This is because I’ve been trying to recover from losing a project that I spent 1 year working on to label shelves that I’m not even fucking signed to. I had to be resilient + start another project. The first thing I was going to do in January after the release of Thefuckidid was pushing out the next single which was MOJO. The single cycle would have went After Party, Thefuckidid, VYBZ, + MOJO, then I would have a 4 track EP with a bonus track. Now with me trying to work on that, I was multitasking trying to be ahead of the game, so I added another project to work on while I was doing that one. I finished that EP + left it alone to work on my other project which was called NRVSA - The Mixtape. The EP was called NRVSA - The EP. Now while I had finished NRVSA - The EP I was writing 17 other tracks, picking beats, going back into my files to find old instrumentals I hoarded overtime. This took about 2 months to get to a place where I had a quality amount of work to where I can that this project will work. I’ve yet to release a full project + I was determined to make these songs happen because they were more than just a few party songs. They were meaningful, deep, + passionate songs that I just couldn’t let go of. With me trying to pick a path I wanted to take, I got caught up in eagerness. In the long run it fucked me up + here I am without the mixtape anymore. Which is all I will say on that subject. After a good month of grieving I had to pick myself back up + restart. So I took it upon myself to go back to what I love which is making music that can make me happy. So I reworked NRVSA - The EP, + now I’m re-crafting this material into a fuller project which I’m positive you will like. I like to work in silence + slowly create things. With my first single I’ve once again been stuck trying to retrieve files, remaster, send into studios, + get it to where I want it to be. So I learned my lesson to stop announcing things before I’m COMPLETELY finished. With that said, Take a Chance on Love WILL be out before anything else + this project is here to stay. For sure.
