After the release of re9 I've fallen back into the re fandom (as what happens with each release) and I love dc x dp crossover style fics.

So I thought hey! I bet there's loads of crossover fics with these badass agents fighting zombies and bioengineered thingies and supers/vigilantes that fight metas and aliens but loh and behold barely any!

And then I thought omg how funny would it be if there was a relationship going on between baby boy Leon (circa re4) and my go to zombieboy Jason (I feel like the vibes between the two match plus they're both badasses with guns and motorbikes)

I'm not sure if I'd want it to be romantic, besties or some sort of queer platonic vibe 🤔

So here we are. I am not a writer, this is my first but I needed it out my head and for others to hopefully enjoy and be intrigued.

I don't have the words for this but. Art and science are always hand in hand.

The perfectionism of artists has them researching stuff in a way that only scientists can compare. Some artists become experts in biology or anatomy. Other special interests have them going down rabbit holes to make them better at their art.

Disney animators said "we are perfecting the code for this snow if it kills us" and researched and invented code until it acted like real snow in Frozen and snow scientists were like hey. Did we just fucking solve the Dyatlov Pass mystery. And the animators answered no. We made snow. YOU applied the knowledge and did the experiments to solve what could have happened at Dyatlov Pass.

And it was a team effort because of course it was. You can't have art without science. And you can't have science without art.

It’s a biological fact that fish do indeed change their sex to keep the male/female ratio balanced in their school population. So this fluidity actually makes more sense from a scientific standpoint than the silly idea that merfolk are born with a strictly assigned sex like humans.
