A real one this time. This oneβs basically my favorite of my hundreds of children
Meet Prof Lethbridge! (This art by @sandwichhourβ, theyβre amazing)
Prof (yes, thatβs her given name) is a Mad Scientist, who was rendered entirely monochrome by a lab accident that put her in contact with an entity called The Host; imagine Rod Serling, but more bigoted and omniscient. As this connection allows the Host to re-enter the mortal world and tinker even more with reality and causality, Prof has to use her scientific know-how and her monster-y friends to put a stop to him.

Incidentally, this rebellion against control and others telling her what her life should be is what lets Prof realize that sheβs actually a girl. She transitions over the course of the following major story arcs/books, one set 3 months after the Host incident, and the next one 4 years after that (this βbook 3β³ era of Prof is what all of these arts represent).
