I saw this quote on @pinterest today and it hit hard y’ all! For as long as I can remember, I had always been an arts and crafts person. As a child, I loved drawing and coloring in my room more than going out and playing. But as I started growing up and came across more talented people than me, I thought maybe this wasn’t for me. Maybe I’m not artistic enough or creative enough. I stopped pursuing anything that I liked and kept my creativity only for making gifts for my closed ones. Starting this page also took a lot of courage for me because sometimes I still feel inadequate. I know there are so many amazing artists and I’m nowhere close to them but over the years I have realized that everyone brings something unique to this world. Everyone has their own beauty which should be cherished. And plus, no one gets better without consistent practice and effort. So I wrote this quote today as a reminder that all of us are unique and that it should be celebrated! I have a weird relationship with habit trackers. I like them when they are complete but if I keep checking off everyday.. it gets overwhelming and I’m scared I might fall off wagon 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ So I mark dates for all my habits elsewhere and then mark them off on this tracker at the end of the month.
