Getting to the point of inspiration and pen to paper (or I guess fingers-to-keyboard) feels like flying into space without being a trained astronaut. There are so many beautiful and inspiring things to look at if you only turn your gaze to it, but you actually have no clue how their computers work, and you didn’t pack enough space food. Or something.

I have so many disorganized ideas and methods of actually WRITING something worth reading, but a significantly diminished capacity and no execution nor energy to regularly DO the thing.

It’s easy to feel like you’re in over your noggin in the sauce but truly when the inspo hits I have to REALLY lock in (within my capacity) knowing the feeling is temporary. That’s when I just load up the drafts, the purgatory my work dwells in before seeing the light of day. Editing drafts is a whole other ballgame of focus, though, and remembering to do so is still tricky even with reminders and regularly sessions of sitting down to work on it.
