#tbt to December, 2006. Daniel gad just graduated Basic Training and I was visiting him for the holidays. We had been "going out" since August, if you could call it going out. It was more like one and a half months of getting to know him, then two and a half months of me writing him letters every single day he was in basic and obsessively checking my mailbox waiting for the return. We still have all of those letters, and after seven years, my heart still flutters for him. I can't believe we have a one month old son now, and the unexpected journey he's got us set on. But I wouldn't have it any other way, and while Daniel and I made a perfect family with just the two of us, with Nathaniel, our family is complete. So much love, so many tears and smiles already, so much joy. ❤
