Spite knows, maybe Rook does or doesn't, but Lucanis is in heavy denial about it. Every time he sees the ocean, especially if Rook goes near it, he freezes up. Anxiety building up from a place he doesn't want to acknowledge exists at all.

so in the case of rookanis, it would be an interesting thing to navigate for them. One who is extremely traumatized by the ocean/ water and has nothing but bad memories being trapped under the surface. and one who (again, LOF rook) was a galley/boat slave and eventually escaped to the beach where they found freedom and comfort amongst the waters.
