His scent still dominated the sheets lying peacefully on the bed; you didn't know if you'd ever have the guts to wash them, relieve them of him. It still felt as though he was holding you, Sirius' hands gipping you to him in such a strong embrace you could never forget. Not that you wanted to anyway.

Shall I write it in a letter? Shall I try to write it down?

"Dear Sirius,

It's been 3 days since that witch took you from me and I cannot seem can't do this without you. Everyday becomes more overwhelming, more unbearable. "You look beautiful, my love." His voice chorussing through your ears as his hand cupped your cheek. The roughness in his voice erupted molten lava in your stomach, melting everything from your heart to your feet. Low vibrations sounded out from his throat; grit was laced in his melodious voice. It was all beauty to your ears and fulfilment to your heart. He was perfect.

Bedsheets spread loosely around your body while your knuckles turned white clenching with such might trying to hold yourself together. Your short chipped nails jammed into the cotton sheet layered over you. It was impossible to find something to really hold onto, to ground you to a reality you didn't want to face. Tears rolled form your eyes, waterfalls and never-ending streams of blue dripping onto the silk pillow beneath the side of your face.

"I miss you, Sirius." Sniffling and shaking, you cried tears of pure tyranny from the wreckage that had now become your life. Your body raged with sobs inside the sheets that fell off your body, leaving you cold.

The grass chirped with muggle-known creatures and the leaves whirled from the trees with their arrays of crimson red and gold blurring to the floor. Your eyes took it all in, the subtle warmth in the autumn night that breezed through the branches of the trees lined along the park hill.

"Wow," You breathed, staring into the pinks and oranges ironed into the sky as the golden-orange sun was cut off halfway from the world behind the farm fields that ran for miles below the hill. Cows and sheep glimmered in the far distance.

Sirius' huge hand held yours with care, head in your direction with his eyes admiring you while you admire the view in front of you. "You are so beautiful."

The shaking of your body never stopped as your sobs violated the saddening silence of the lonely house. Pain submerging throughout your body from your heart in overwhelming waves. It was too much. The loss was too much to handle.

"It wasn't important." You replied, only causing his heart to swell in how you felt it was your fault. "Of course, it is, Y/N! I'm not going to let that pink prude harm you; You're all I have." The professor poured somewhat of his heart into your ears, trying to convince you that it meant something, that it was torturous for him to see you suffering, especially at the hands of staff hired at this school.

Rough fingers gently clasped your chin, raising it to look him dead in the eye; The potions room around you fading away as you stared into his deep-brown orbs. The coldness of the desk you were sitting on sent shivers up and down your spine, only making you want to lean into his touch, craving the warmness that is his body. Nerves swirled in your stomach and his gaze felt overbearing as you bit shyly on your bottom lip.

"I'm sorry Sev..." You breathe out, grasping to the only words you could find to express how you were feeling; Guilt and shame flooding your conscience. "I'm so so sorry." Tears sparking at the corners of your eyes, irises glazed in clear. You didn't want him to see you cry, so you lower your head into his chest; His smell invading your senses and filling up your lungs. Breathing into his chest, hiccups escape your throat as tears escape you're eyes.

Severus' arms clasp around your frame, holding onto you for his and your comfort. "Don't apologise, Y/N." His hand rubs up your back before settling atop your hair. "I just hate to see you hurt and to know you were keeping this from me..." He takes in a sharp breath, not daring to even finish his sentence before carrying on, "You're everything to me, I don't know what I'd do if you were hurt worse." The confession brought pain to your heart as more tears drenched his robes.

Everything was okay; He and you were fine, and in his arms everything felt alright; Even if that witch was trying to make the walls around you collapse. You removed your hands from their strong grip on the table edge and moved them to the behind of Severus' neck. Your fingers curled his black locks around in comfort, calming yourself in his embrace.

Caroline's curls bounced on her shoulders as she downed her drink, smile only growing as Klaus sweet talked the vampire. You didn't know how to feel looking at the scene, he was yours; Well at least you thought he was. He was constantly sneaking off, going to the mystic grill most nights and tonight you decided to follow.

Hurt. Anger. Jealousy. It all swirled in you, enraging the stabbing pains in your heart from his plain betrayal. Of course he chose her, Caroline was perfect; Blonde locks dancing gleefully on her head and pretty blue eyes that held all the happiness in the world. It was clear all along that he wanted her, not you.

Klaus compelled the waiter for another drink, a pink concoction being set in front of the immortal. Flashbacks occurred in your mind of how you and klaus used to spend nights here. The two of you glass after glass of whiskey, the amber liquid becoming a comfort for you.

He never got drunk so he had you on his shoulder, speeding you back home where you should’ve stayed the night with him; Drunk but safe in his arms. How could you of been so stupid? It all made sense now; How he would disappear on those nights, only returning during dawn. The sun would sparkle it’s rays through your window, reflecting onto your silky skin just as he would walk through the door, feeding you the same lies.

They moved towards the pool table, still too infatuated with each other to notice your movements to the bar. Eyes glued to their bodies moving against each other. Ordering whiskey neat from the barista, you sipped it slowly, the burn along your throat giving you the comfort you wished for as you kept watching. Kept your eyes tailored to his hands running along hers and the way Caroline’s laughter only brought love into his blue orbs.

Anger surged through you as you stormed out, leaving a $5 bill on the table. The scene was too much and ideas popped into your brain, a lightbulb glowing with the perfect plan.

Reaching into your pocket, you pulled out your keys and held out the key to the house you and klaus owned, digging it into the side of his black suv parked in the back of the car park. The sound was almost deafening as you walked slowly, dragging it through the metal of the car, tearing the material.

You looked about, a sledge hammer catching your eyes from the nearby construction site. Quickly, you rushed over and grabbed hold of the handle of the tool from just inside the open fence. The alarm was ringing through your ears but he was probably too caught up with his beauty. Beauty and the beast, oh how fitting.

So you quickly made do of his tires, air being sucked out of them as you ripped the rubber apart with the key. You put your almost unbearable emotions into puncturing all four tires, leaving him with expensive damage. Not that it was really going to affect him but you needed this, you needed him to see his damage towards you and your heart.

Unlocking the door with the same key as you wrecked his car with, you stormed into the mansion. A scream erupted from your chest, pouring out the emotions you were holding in. Grabbing the photo of you and him on the wall, you ripped it off the wall, the glass frame shattering; Shards of glass splattered on the floor, jumping away from each other. Your fingertips clipped to under the table against the wall and flipped it onto the ground.

Tears of fury and frustration escaped your eyes, making mascara mix with it and drip down your face in streams. Shouts and yells of incoherent phrases and noises left your mouth, bearing your broken heart into the world.

Footsteps echoed through the empty kitchen as your heels stomped along the marble tiles, cracking a few as you marched to the knife stand. Your hand clenched around the black handle of the weapon, holding it by your side as you went to the staircase. Looking down at the white carpets, you sat on the bottom step as the tip of the blade tore into the material; you did that into every step, breaking into the wood underneath.

Stumbling through the house, you could barley make out the labels of the bottles through your waterworks. Grabbing a bottle of red wine, you analysed the label and realised it was the one he was saving. He said he got it back in the 15th century from a king, beats you.

Twisting the lid, you opened it, letting the smell of the wine invade the air. Bringing the bottle to your lips, you took a swig of the red, relishing in the fruitiness of it. One more sip of the liquid and then you were pouring it on the floor, soaking the white, torn staircase carpet with red. One after another, bottle after bottle the house was covered in wine and his cellar was looking bare.

You were wasted, absolutely pissed and blasting music along the house as you danced, twirling around with a bottle of aged red in your hand.

Your voice rang out to the music while you pulled each item of him clothing out of the wardrobe; If you were going to leave you wanted him to have to deal with a right mess. So the pile of his belongings grew and odd items were dotted all around the mansion. You laughed to yourself manically at the idea of him chasing down each object; The tears had dried up and big black lines ran up and down your red, flustered cheeks. The place was broken and beaten up and you were tired, exhausted from the one-woman party you held. Music still blared through the walls but it wasn’t quite making it to your ears and you lay down on the sofa in the main living room. You raised your third bottle up to your lips, draining the last few drops from the bottle as your eyelids became heavy. Coddling the empty bottle to your body, you contacted into yourself and closed your eyes, falling into darkness as Damn You For Breaking My Heart by Caitlyn Smith lightly buzzed in your ears.

Klaus was raging, his suv was screwed and the culprit was unknown, that was until he entered his home thinking everything was fine. Music hit his ears as he unlocked the front door, staring at the trashed insides of the place. Then it hit him, it was you. Before anger could get through him, he realised you knew, you knew he was being unfaithful and now the guilt was going to eat at him.

He focused, trying to listen for you over the music humming through him; Your heartbeat was steady, instantly calming him as he knew you were still here and sleeping. Klaus tried to ignore the state of his mansion and instead followed your sounds to find you in the living room, curled up on the sofa. His grinch-sized heart was swelling up as he saw the bottle held against your chest and dried mascara along your rosy cheeks. He walked up to the speakers in the corner of the room and turned them off, stopping Tell Me It’s Not Over by Starsailor half way through.

Once the music was off and silence aired through the mansion, he then made his way to you, caressing his knuckles over the old tears as he struggled to hold back his own. He’d made a mistake and it was going to cost him the world, it was going to cost him you.

The young Black boy picked up his feet and sprinted over to the young girl, only stopping a couple metres, keeping his distance; Though his heavy footing, the young H/C stood unaware of the young friend staring in fear of her actions. She grabbed the railing, fingers clenching as his breathing almost matched hers. Her hair swept behind her head, the wind caressing it out of her beautifully sculpted face. Y/N's cheeks held such a cute shade of red spreading along them and over the tip of her pretty pointed nose.

"Please." His deep pleading voice alerted her and her head shot in the direction of him, tears rolling down her rosy cheeks as she was about to lift herself onto the railing.

"Please don't do this, Y/N. We can work this out." His ever so desperately pleaded, he needed her in his arms, to hold her away from any harm; To hold her together and collect her pieces and be the glue that fixes her.

"No." Her head shook violently as the streams of waterworks feel the delicate shape of her face as the pass off of her chin. "I'm tired, Sirius; Ever so tired. And no one would really be upset." Her voice cracks and Sirius' heart could of shattered right there right then. It truly baffled him that Y/N couldn't see all of the people that cared about her, and just how much he loved her.

"No one would be upset?" It wasn't registering in his brain how this girl couldn't see how perfect she was. He couldn't understand how she could even think that. "I would be upset! No, No. Not upset, Fucking heart broken!" No exaggeration was in his words, only a soothing breeze that didn't fit the situation at hand whatsoever.

Y/N looked one last time over at him before her eyes glued to the space in front, gazing down into the night below; Submitting herself to the darkness that consumed her, the stars above not able to spare a single ray of their light to light her the way.

Sirius' begs fell upon deaf ears, not wanting to be taken in; Y/N couldn't quite listen to it, the voices sparring in her head were quieting everything around her down dramatically. She could only shake her head, blocking out the boy and attempting to shake out the bad thoughts. The thoughts that were demolishing her whole. Y/N's fingers were in a deadly tightened grip around the railing, unable to let go.

"Italy." Y/N breathed out, turning her head towards Sirius. "I don't know what it is about it, but Rome has always been my dream place to visit. It just looks so beautiful." She babbled on, unaware of his staring; While he thought the city was a place of beauty, he could only focus on how beautiful she was. No scenery, no matter how perfect it was, could ever match her; He would pick Y/N over anything any day; The sweetest scented candle, when lit it would enhance the room in its aroma; A sunset, where the most gorgeous shades would be blended together; Nothing could even compare to Y/N's beauty, and Sirius was head over heels

While she lay there on the shards of green, him staring at her face, tracing every characteristic of her face with his eyes, her mind flooded with the thoughts; In reality, she knew she wouldn't ever get to see Rome, she would die before even getting the chance. "What's wrong?" It came out quick, sinking into her ears fast, Y/N perking up at the sudden worry and concern. "Yeah, I'm good." Her smile reappearing, plastered to convince him.

Y/N wanted to, she wanted to just let this all go, but he was standing there, and she loved him too much. It was so frustrating; All she had wanted for so long was to just give up, but he just wouldn't let her. Sometimes she hated loving him.

He was confused, how had he not seen all of the pain she had been in? Looking back at it now, he could remember all of the times where she wasn't herself, when she would just look fully out of it; He regretted not fully looking, seeing past her fake demeanour.

The three boys had started to notice her drunken daze but didn't think much of it, she normally drank till she was drunk on these occasions; Still they sometimes tried to see if there was anything more to it than just celebrating a win, but never really put in enough effort.

But she didn't see it that way; Y/N couldn't quite get passed the thought that everyone would be better off, and even if they wouldn't be, she didn't want to carry on; She was too tired, too burnt out to keep going.

She was still breathing, each breath showing up in the cold night air; She shivered and shook and all Sirius wanted to do was wrap his arms around her to keep her warm. He wanted to give her as much comfort as she needed but she felt too far away, too far to the edge and away from him.

"Be strong. Please, we can overcome this together." His pleading wasn't working, her mind was too clouded by dangerous, dark thoughts to even register his words.

Her body only got closer until she couldn't make any less space between her and the railing. Y/N brought her foot up, placing it on the bar unsteadily; But before she could take another step, or even make it off of the balcony, Sirius had closed the air between them, running with all his might towards her. His colossal man-hands grabbed a vicious hold of her waist, gripping Y/N in a deadly hold. He pulled her into his chest, embracing her into him as her sobs and cries finally poured out of her heart.

He fell to the floor with the tear-stricken girl in his arms, sighing for he finally had her safe; But Y/N's wails were heartbreaking to listen to and the muscle in his chest, violently pounding in his ribcage, swelled from the unbearable sounds. He wanted to take all of her pain away, but there was no physical way he could do that, so he needed to be there for her. He may not be able to take the feelings away, but he could help heal her fractured heart and mind. He loved her too much to just let her let herself go.

"Let me help you. Can you do that?" Sirius asked, hoping for her to accept; After a few seconds, her tears draping along her cheeks, she nodded, shaking her head up and down before sinking it into his chest. She just wanted to hide away from the world, even him sometimes.

From then he held her hand whenever he could, squeezing it constantly to let her know he was there. He became protective of her and had an arm around her at all times. She needed the company, it was the only thing keeping the thoughts away, keeping her worthy in her own mind.

But it's more courageous to overcome

A smile overtook her face, their hands joined together and a ring on each of them. The golden band held their never-ending love, engraved swirls giving it some sort of pretty matching pattern. A simple lace dress hugged Y/N's curves, dropping down her legs and pooling on the floor beside the rose arch; Spaghetti straps rounded the top of her shoulders leading into a lace bodice cinching her petite waist. Sirius didn't think any sight other than her could compare to the beauty she held.
