let me set up the scene. during lockdown, i had an insane aot phase. of course, naturally i realised i needed a way to fill in the gaps in my brain about my fantasies of falling in love with levi. and then entered you and your works! you were the first author i ever read on ao3. ever. beforehand i had never used the website.

your works are so near and dear to me; remember your halloween saga? the nsfw stuff? and that 3 part series about levi and the "girl next door"? god it brings back memories of better times.

not to be weird, but ive been here since the beginning of your writing journey on tumblr. i remember you used to go by another name as well until everything imploded with the fic-that-shall-not-be-named. ive just been lurking and waiting for uploads thru the years. however, i always do a monthly checkup on you and noticed that your works were all privated. ive gathered that its bc of some issues of people stealing your work. im so so sorry that you have to deal with this again, but as they say: imitation is the best form of flattery.

i dont mean this in a weird parasocial type of way but i genuinely have grown as a person with you; you dont know me but i just feel so grateful for your works and that you started writing. thank you so much, you gave me such amazing memories 💜💜💜💜💜💜 wish you the absolute best in your life.

First of all, let me just apologize for taking so long to respond to you!!! 😭 I promise I wasn’t ignoring you, I had the longest work week and was burning the candle at both ends so I needed a minute to recharge because I wanted to give you a proper, heartfelt reply to your incredibly sweet message. <3 I’m so honored that you’ve been with me for so long, so much so to the point that you remember stumbling upon my works on AO3 and the entire phase! I do remember all of that stuff from my early writing days, and it was such a fun part of my life. It’s so touching to still have so many OG readers with me, and I’m so thankful you are STILL here with me. 

It is not weird or parasocial at all, so thank you for being part of my journey. And thank you for checking up on me periodically. That is so incredibly sweet, it made me tear up when I initially read your message.
