Cool as an Aunt , Cooler as a Dad

This image from Pinterest was so intriguing that I searched it up and finished it in one sitting this morning .

The Manhua is named "Dr Du Ming" . I was drawn to it mainly because of the art style , it seems hauntingly beautiful. The theme is dark but there is some romance . It took me a while to accept that the male lead was not really someone special or someone different than the other male characters in this manhua (like after I realized what actually happened I was like first of all why would you do that! And second why would you do that if you were already in love with Zhang Qian! Then I remembered Men) . All that charm in Du Ming's persona, all in vain . I really feel bad for Zhang Qian . Could things have worked out for the better, if Du Ming didn't leave her at the rooftop that day? I guess we'll never know. But what that dude did to Wang Yao , I don't think Zhang Qian deserved someone like that . Although it's also True that Du Ming did love her . The main two characters are truly complicated and ml is definitely not pure, if somebody was - it's Zhang Qian.
