ohh absolutely i 100 % agree. also they kinda give “fel first, fell harder”in a way . sophia = fell first, literally been in love with her since they were little and never stopped doing it . manon = fell harder, she obviously loved sophia but maybe not in that way, then they lost each other so she went on with her life . but now they meet again and BOOM at some point it hit her hard all at once, she’s literally obsessed with her little shy and awkward girl, she can’t go 5 minutes without being with her and touching her. obviously they are both equally obsessed and in love but yeah they scream this trope so much.

and manon, who wasn't looking for sophia, thinking she’d never see her again, and suddenly she catches a glimpse of her out of nowhere and can’t stop seeing her everywhere. i’m sure manon would be the more obsessed one at first—the type to just walk up to her while sophia is feeling all insecure because, well, it’s been years and manon is hanging out with some terrible people, and she doesn't know who she is yet (sophia is such an overthinker). but manon is just so charming! it’s unfair.

and that’s it—she’s always flirting, always touching sophia. and when people say she shouldn’t be hanging out with a nerd, manon gets so angry! i imagine she’s very big on justice; she just got to this university this semester and these were the people who welcomed her, but that doesn’t mean she’d easily accept them mistreating someone else, especially sophia.

i was looking for an ideia of them in college! this is nice, manon whos super popular but a nerd inside and sophia whos incredible she just have a difficult time making friends. i would make them childhood best friends too, like, the type to promise to marry each other one day but manon move out and they lost contact and now sophia just found her again and she never stopped loving her kind of thing

ugh and manon don't know who sophia is bc she never saw her until someday that something happens (?) idk what like a science fair? a debate? a musical? and sophia is put in the light and manon is like omg .
