Talking about what Elysia could have been, I still like to imagine what if her being loved by everyone around her was a passive effect of her Herrscher powers, just this idea could bring a lot of complexity, you could have Elysia herself realizing this upon learning she's an herrscher and starting to doubt the genuinety of her bonds, you could have the flame chasers starting to put the pieces together when they are out of her sphere of influence, like maybe Yae while on a mission, it could be a really creepy concept given that she doesn't even do it voluntarily, maybe upon learning she is a herrscher, and starting to take it into consideration she could learn how to stop it from being constantly active but being internally torn cause turning it off would be seeing what the other think of her outside the lie she unintentionally created for herself
