Friends, #brunch as you might know by now is a millennial life quest and an Australian National past time. Today we ventured to @littleoink in Cook (west #belco) and whoa-it-does-live-to-the-hype Small and unassuming, this quirky cafe offers a nice variety of dishes, some classics and some welcome variations. Most of my table went for the #hash which looked amazing (and definitely will try next time!) but I went for this great #vego option: two pea fritters and a poached egg, with a delicious green salad on top. The fritters were super crunchy which I loved, but I would have preferred them softer in the middle. Flavoursome and balanced, it was great with my chai latte (my beverage of choice at brunch when mimosas are not acceptable/available). I felt overly tempted by the hot chocolates though, so I ended up ordering a nuttella one. Go for that one or the butterscotch! Nice atmosphere, and I would have loved to know earlier about the blankets because it was freezing outside! #aussielife🇦🇺 #nekkopicadas #canberra (at Little Oink)
