Day 366 of 365 by Neil Evans Via Flickr: One extra photograph #366, to end this 365 Photo Project, thanks to 2016 being a leap year. The Washington National Cathedral at night (long exposure) adjacent to the "Peace Cross", which was dedicated on October 23, 1898 by President McKinley to mark the coming end of the Spanish-American War. The inscription reads, "This cross is raised in the Historic year A.D. 1895 to mark the founding of the Cathedral of SS Peter & Paul. 'That it may please thee to give to all nations unity peace & concord we beseech thee to hear us Good Lord' Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone." Thanks to all who have followed along this year - whether it was one visit or many. It's been an amazing growth journey for me; I've wanted to do this for several year now. Success, finally!
