Ramblings of an Animation fanatic

it continues to hurt me so much that, as soon as Catra gets the approval of Hordak (and, very briefly, Shadow-Weaver), she doesn’t become power-hungry, maniacal, or even just…stronger, internally or in manner. she becomes almost meek, over-eager, seizing every chance she can get to “check in” with Hordak so that she has an oppurtunity to feel his praise; and, as soon as SW shows affection towards Catra, she comes back to the cell as soon as she can - and not even with the plan she said she’d have. Just to “brainstorm” w SW so that she’d have another minute to maybe, maybe feel that affection again. It’s so telling and so so fucking sad that this is what happens when she gets even a shred of approval from the person/people she’s been seeking it from for so long. How starved she is for affection and touch and recognition - just to be seen as a person worth others’ time who might be capable of something. It’s so relatable and so awful and i want to pull a scorpia and wrap her up in her blanket and hold her until she feels love. My sweet darling, she deserves so much more, and always did

does anyone else get insanely romantically frustrated, like i know sexual frustration is a thing but sometimes i get super intense cravings for soft kisses or make out sessions or cuddling naps or things like that and it’s way more frustrating to me than sexual cravings

I get jealous really easily but not like an angry vengeful jealous more like a really sad lonely jealous because everybody likes everybody more than they like me and I really really don’t blame them.
