NEFARIOUS ;;

Kane paced back and forth in the locker room of Monday Night Raw after his one-sided mixed tag match with Daniel Bryan against CM Punk and AJ Lee. The reason for this being that he had not only ended up in the ring with the diva as his technical in-ring opponent (due to an accidental tag-in) but she had climbed right up on him and made herself quite at home before kissing him right on the lips. Now The Big Red Monster was no stranger to being kissed before nor initiating a kiss himself but the bold move had been so left-field that it actually stunned him to the point of leaving the ring completely and now there he was in the back just as confused and thrown off as he was in the ring. The biggest thing that stood out to him was that dangerous smile she had, it was a twisted sort of grin he never expected to see on the face of one of the ‘prepped and preened’ divas of the WWE.

Honestly, the last diva he recalled with such character and spunk was his ex-wife Lita. Kane had seen them come and go but none would quite have the fire that Lita did.. but AJ didn’t need to. The brunette had her own blazing inferno just waiting to get the catalyst it needed to ignite and perhaps she could even be quite the destructive force herself if she chose to feed those flames. The more twisted side of Kane was eager to see just how much potential she really had and if it would be worth his time to nurture the fires of destruction and insanity within her.

Though, at the moment he found himself staring back at his own reflection in a mirror as he couldn’t stop contemplating what had just transpired. He realized that he would only become more lost in his thoughts if he kept standing there idly or shatter the glass with his fist as he’d done in the past so he decided to keep his brain and body active and went for a walk, making a round around the entire backstage area of the arena to try and clear his head of the fire that AJ Lee had attempted to set his body ablaze with, a kind of fire that never boded well for him, the fire of desire.

               AJ was accidentally tagged into the match when Punk bumped into her and in that very moment, her body went numb and fear consumed every inch of her smaller frame. There stood a man who terrified her because of how much he towered over her - forget the long history he had of hurting and torturing other individuals. She didn’t want to let Punk down. She couldn’t just run away. She had to get in the ring. She had to fight Kane.

              Kane didn’t charge her as soon as she got in the ring. He didn’t wrap a hand around her nimble throat to chokeslam her. It was a tad intriguing, to say the least. Everything beyond that point was a little... unexpected. Another man had successfully managed to capture AJ’s interest and this was going to be interesting because this wasn’t a man. This was a demon. A monster. This was Kane... and that only made her want to explore this interest more. The mystery behind the man was an added bonus, something that Bryan couldn’t offer and Punk especially couldn’t considering the man wore his heart on his sleeve.

‘ stay with me tonight? ’

‘ don’t talk. save your strength. ’

‘ hey, i’ve got you. it’s okay. ’

‘ i’ll be right here. don’t worry. ’

‘ i think we’re done. ’

‘ hold my hand. ’

‘ it’s all been a lie, hasn’t it? ’

‘ we’re out of time. ’

‘ you’ll always be a friend. ’

‘ just hold me. ’

‘ i have to leave you behind. i’m sorry. ’

‘ don’t do that. it’ll only hurt. ’

‘ go on, cry. ’

‘ keep your eyes open. ’

‘ can i hug you? ’

‘ i trusted you. ’
