for another summer, i experienced some glorious sunsets by the water. Last year, Cape Cod granted me some amazing ones, and this year, it was the doing of Gulf of Mexico. I dont think i had ever witnessed so many colors before... or if I had, i have been completely oblivious to it until now. The source of all the colors that seem to be typical of beach cities, like the turquoise, deep pink, pastel purples, stared right at me deep in the sky. clouds made different formations by the second as a storm was brewing in the distance.

The sounds are crisp

clear

shining right through my drum

even my left shoulder weights heavy

with your lightness

you cut right through me

and make me remember

that if nothingness had a shadow,

i would be it.

and i bask in the beauty
