just because someone posts aesthetically pleasing photos does not mean theyβre inviting sexual messages in their dms. thereβs this weird mentality online where people think: βIf she posts pics I find attractive, then itβs normal for me to message her sexually.β no. thatβs not how basic social boundaries work. you can find someone attractive. you can even think someoneβs posts are sexy. whatβs not normal is going into a strangers inbox acting horny and expecting them to entertain it. thatβs not confidence. thatβs not flirting. thatβs just being weird. the internet has made some people forget basic decency. porn culture and anonymity have convinced people that every woman online is a character meant for their entertainment. but real people exist behind these accounts, and most of us do not want strangers treating our dms like a comment section for their sexual fantasies. posting pics I like/fit pics is not an invitation. if you wouldnβt walk up to a stranger in public and say it, donβt send it in a dm. basic respect isnβt that hard.
