Well, there had been the uh....trouble-.. INCIDENT on the last call. That HAD been a little...uh...well...a little scary. But it had all turned out well and the majority of his suit had held up pretty well against the flames! Herman only smelling SLIGHTLY of melted rubber, where the heat had gotten...well...hot. Hotter. Melty hot. But he hadn't sustained any injuries really. Just a few small sore areas on his left arm and side where the suit had gotten a little too....uh...WARM.

~ That had been...no-..not fun. Maybe he could ask Robert not to send him there again? No. He couldn't-..WOULDN'T do that! He was a h-hero. Hero's had to SAVE people e-everywhere.

Herman wrapped his arms around himself Feeling his teeth chatter violently. So hard in fact it kind of HURT. There was no point in taking the blanket that had been left for him to warm up though - he knew from childhood experience that blankets didn't really DO a whole lot for warmth when you would just...well...get them all DAMP. All he could ever really do is take a hot shower or w a i t until his body temperature warmed enough to do the same to the water on his skin.

Being wet all the time led to more complications than the....ugh, general moistness everyone could see. It meant the cold always LINGERED. Bone deep. Even standing in front of a refrigerator had there ability to make him....uncomfortable.

He was so-...so cold.

Ice rinks were no-...not fun.

The sudden GRAB of hands against his arm, Herm managed too look up from where he had been staring at his feet just in time to see FLAMBAE'S chest closing in. Grunting as he collided with it. An audible HISS sounding as his damp cold body met the warmth SOLID heat of the other man's chest. All sensibilities pushed from WATERBOY'S brain as he all but melted against the fire wielder with a whine as warmth radiated into him. Herman's voice soft and muffled. ' ..I'm gratef-..thanking...thanks. ' ~
