"We Are Unbreakable." There has been many times in my life where I have felt BROKEN. The first time was when my daughter LEA NOELLE CROPP died at 4 months old a week before she was to go into the first of many heart surgeries to come. I was "CRUSHED." There was nothing that I could do to save her. Secondly, my family has recently experienced some events with our mother that had us in a very difficult place of uncertainty, sadness, and despair. There are things that will happen in our lives that we will have questions to, BUT no answers. I BELIEVE that there are things in our lives that come to "BREAK US," to "DESTROY US," and "KILL US." Nevertheless, I BELIEVE that our response to these situations, circumstances and struggles help "BUILD OUR FAITH." I BELIEVE that we are only at a point of being TRULY BROKEN when we "GIVE UP," when we "SURRENDER," and when we literally "THROW IN THE TOWEL." Thursday Inspiration; "Swing The Bat." Growing up I played baseball and use to be the leader of the batting lineup. There were times when I would look down at my coach and he would always give me the signal "it's on you." Needless to say I was always nervous and I normally took the first pitch. I could hear my father from the stands saying, "Come on Nate, swing the bat!" There are times in our lives where we must trust the hardwork and effort we put into our lives daily. Being afraid, nervous or scared is OK. However, it must drive us to working harder and having faith, trust, hope and confidence in who we are. Don't be afraid to "Swing The Bat" in your life.
