On what? I feel like everything I have here is so OLD that people just don’t care anymore. Are people still using tumblr?

I was going through my stuff recently cause I changed computers (finally financially stable to buy something real powerful to do art in) and I felt a huge wave of nostalgia, not to mention that now the computer doesn’t close photoshop out of nowhere, that’s a huge incentive to just do art on my own.

So what do you guys want back?

I have the script of Scarelock done.

Piratelock was just about to get spicy and I am no longer in that weird era of “omg Idk if I wanna draw spicy stuff” I don’t care about that anymore, I’ve seen so much BLs in the past like 2 years that that shit just normal now.

The season’s comics I had planned I think I would change the characters so that I can actually monetize it on tapas or something, cause the story is SO CUTE (in my head at least)

I also don’t have the same amount of free time I used to have but I need to get back to drawing comics for fun and not just for work. Right now I am not working on anything so I have free time (other than I have to plan my wedding… I AM GETTING MARRIED WTF, and traveling to Japan and Spain this year)

I’m still sour Zack was not super jacked in the game… I didn’t want him to be Barry big but you know.

I did more arts for another Zakkura fic

There’s a whole ass Avengers ark I wrote about Steve being a god from another dimension and it’s good… like try to contact some editor from Marvel good to make this thing canon.

I don’t remember ever writing it and it’s so exciting, like reading something new.

I am so busy with projects and then adding personal projects into the mix and I think I need to clone myself 🫠🫠🫠

I am also sad that most editorials do NOT look into artists for story ideas. I get it, we’re just the tool to make your writing a thing; but as artists we’ve been living with these characters EVERY DAY and we LOVE them, we understand them. It just pains me so much when a writer is hired and they’ve never read these characters and just come in and destroy their essence.

Working on those stories feels like taking bits of your artistic soul slowly until you feel nothing and you just show up to work like a robot, no feeling for these characters, just a mindless monotone job… You’re not the writer, you don’t have a say in what happens.

I wish editors would let us artists write from time to time.

Sigh, I just needed to vent, cause I feel like if I don’t… this part of me, that gets excited about carrying on a character’s essence, it’s gonna turn off and die.
