Seoul, South Korea based artist Daehuyn Kim, aka “Moonassi”, started his black and white drawing series in 2008 and has no intentions of stopping. Moonassi’s “life-time project”, he calls it, reads like a diary. “Each drawing is created based on my daily thoughts and feelings. I draw to meditate on myself and others, to be able to see the whole story of the series in the end,” he says. The name “Moonassi” roughly translates as “there is no such thing as me”, referring to a certain emptiness or void, as in someone with no identity. Exploring identity, or at least his own, is a recurring theme throughout Moonassi’s drawings and other works which span woodblock printing, sculpture and new media.Â

So my Dad and brother took separate cars to dinner tonight, and this happened.
they look like they are arguing about who is going to go home and change
Oh, they were.
Jake: You’ve got to be kidding me Dad: You SAW me walk through the kitchen on my way to pick up your sister! Jake: No seriously do you have an extra shirt in your car this is ridiculous
Oh my god they’re gonna kill me they didn’t want to even walk into the restaurant together let alone have this many people reblog this photo
why does this actual, real life photo look like a nightmarish norman rockwell painting

why does this have 32k notes? it’s just a picture of a knife in a ranch bottle, is there some unspoken joke that 32 thousand people share? what is going on here, i dont get it. it’s just a fucking picture of a knife in a ranch bottle. is there some spiritual connection people have to this picture? is there some ominous and mystical reasoning that this has 32 thousand notes? do people reblog this because it makes them look like some indie blogger? or is there just something funny to this? someone please explain
