“That it is,” she laughed, “At least one of is paid the big bucks.” Not that money mattered all that much to Andy. She loved what she did. Had been planning to be a mechanic since the day she first stepped into her father’s garage and started playing around the cars. It was the only thing in her life that really made sense to her. After all these years, it was the one thing that she knew was true to herself. It didn’t matter how many people she felt like she lost when she walked away from Mariah. She would always have the shop. Always have the cars. Most of all, she would always have her sister, but she didn’t think she would be able to count on Zeli forever. At some point she’d have to start dealing with her problems on her own, right? Andy hardly doubted that would happen. They were so much more than twins. “Someone had to take after dad, I think it would have broke his soft heart if one of us didn’t,” she teased, knowing it was more than just obligation. She laughed with Natzeli’s words, “I don’t know how that’s workin’ out for you so far,” she shook her head, “Yeah, you think?” She raised a brow, “Honestly, I think so too. I don’t know. There’s somethin’ about her..” Andy trailed off. “Somethin’ about her.”
“Yeah, but it’s not like you make nothing. Plus you’re doing something that you love,” she shrugged. Not that Natzeli didn’t like what she did. There were aspects of it that were great and other aspects that were not. Honestly though? If she weren’t drowning in student loans still, it would be more likely that she’d open a shop and tattoo full time instead of just as a hobby. Laughing softly, “I’m glad it was you. I already broke his heart the minute I got my first tattoo. Can’t have both his daughters break his heart, right?” A pout formed on her lips. She wanted to be badass, which on the exterior she was and she often appeared that way to others, but once people got to know her she was less badass and more just a soft heart held behind walls built from a broken one. Reaching forward, she placed her hand gently on her sister’s forearm, “Follow your heart, but also be careful. One day at a time, yanno? Love can be beautiful, and magical and intense but it can also hurt and I don’t want to see you turn out like-” me? “I just don’t want you to lose the part of you that loves so passionately. It’s what makes you, you.”
