A “freedom-lifestyle” - why be a nudist?
Nudism means complete relaxation and calmness. Nothing is restricting me, nothing is making me uncomfortable, it’s to feel unconfined. Free. When the weather is hot it’s the sensible option – and a plain fun ! It’s good for you too – the human body was not designed to be completely wrapped up in clothes and subjected to artificial heat and light sources and air conditioning 24/7. Please ask yourself: What would like to be hidden under layers of textile? You are allowed to forget the burden of clothings - choose a comfortable pure and open minded lifestyle! We are humans and we don’t have any worldly possessions to hide. Now what’s the idea to get hoeses out? There are many great reasons why you should strip away the shackles of clothing and embrace the wonderful life of being naked! Why be a nudist?
At first: Be who you really are and you’ll get always a pleasant time - it’s always worth to go ahead. … or had you really had a bad time when voluntarily nude? In the society we live in today, sadly we don’t have a really choice, a penis is a greater offence than a swastika. Within fear and without trust our mostly useless textile-facades for hiding our sex is still a requirement. It’s really disheartening how so many people have the wrong idea about nudism. So we sadly have to accept some anti-nudity laws - they are unethical in that they criminalize a state of being. Luckily there are a few exceptions like the private domain or holiday-camps, summertimes some beaches and during wintertimes the “scandinavian sauna” to take pants off in public. Liberating nudity is surely becoming more accepting in the modern world, but the aim of each real confident nudist, a clothing free society like “garden eden”, is far away…
What’s the idea to promote the nudist lifestyle and the benefits of having a nudist life, instead of a textile one? Each human is born naked, the body is an inherent good and innocent thing. Why we are shameful told to covering up? We must accept that the human body is not an object of sin, nor can it be considered lewd, indecent or obscene. The comfort of not being restricted in clothings makes it worth to go ahead a nude way. For instance no big deal! Nudism is just about the freeing feeling of the air, water and sun on the skin. Nobody showers in a suit and anyone will go from bath- to the bedroom if it is safe they won’t get caught. …uups, everyone is a space-time nudist.
So everyone can relate to this obove like the fact, that clothing does not grow into our skin. They are only an artificial covering and the traditional rules for clothing-usage are just ideas that change by time, culture or place. The most people just go with the prevailing thought of their time. But the good old ideas never completely go away. We remain the sophisticate greek-cultury (going natural was practiced in ancient SPARTA) - an ordinary nudity in life was a common everyday-fact. In the older days nudism was a practicated philosophy. Today it’s only a specific alternate lifestyle. But times could change…
For sure Nudism is a social statement, it reflects values and morals. It’s a way of honoring and showing respect to humanity. It’s about equality, liberty, community and about being ok with yourself and accepting of others. Millions of normal people have discovered how good it feels to have the sun and breeze on their skin and feel better, more relaxed, less self-conscious and de-stressed as a result. But it’s the concept of social nudity that becomes a “sticking point”. Too much people think nudity is only about sex. Some equate nudity with poverty & humiliation. No question: Nudism is not about obscene - it is a pure way of life, just being naturall with confidence and without any shame! Nudist settings are not sexual, but nudism is rather a form of personal intimacy. So many people just don’t get it, they really can’t conceive of sex not being a part of it. Nudists have the ability to separate their sexuality from simply being in the nude.
Being nude in the presence of another human being can be a very powerful experience. Letting go of embarrassment, and shame, and sexual thoughts, all of the things we are taught to associate with nudity, we connect with others in a more meaningful way. Never the less, some just hate the way they look and others have a phobia - we don’t have to think that way. Nudity is just a kind of simply fetchable naturally freedom, it’s about the human body as a work of art, scientifically amazing! Humans are more or less humiliated beings with sex drive, our body parts are just parts we all have. They are for both genders not equal, but mostly simular. Try social nudity, learn about body-freedom, body-acceptance and find your fear goes away!
I have always believed in the right, the fundamental right to be naked. Clothings has nothing to do with morality. They are entirely unnecessary, a matter of costum, of adornment, theyy are nothing more besides protection from elements, from cold and physical hazards like thorns. There is no reason to wear textile at home, on the beach, at the pool, backyards or at the park. Whereever speedos are acceptable, the nude state should also.
Nude isn’t lewd! Nude is feeling good. This is the mission.
Get the casual nude idea, too? Anyone who believes that society cannot function if people expose their genitals has only to look to the tribes of the amazon (Bororo, Pataxo also Xerente) or to the ancient Sparta-Olympics, where complete nudity is customary. Be free from inhibitions and disrobe your expectations of how to be anything other than who you truly are.
I have learned not everyone is cool with nudism. Some people can’t grasp the concept. I would rather put info out there, contribute to awareness and surround myself with people who share the same vision on why being a nudist is such a great thing.
