Ohgi berated himself inwardly. There was no need to chastise him like a child. And from the sound of it, he’d had enough trouble without other people giving him crap about his decisions. He heard Lelouch say something about his father, something that suggested they weren’t on speaking terms, but he didn’t quite hear it. Obviously it was a touchy subject.

"Mm? Oh, Suzaku’s kind. He’s pretty protective of me. He always thinks I’m going to hurt myself," he laughed quietly. "But I should be the one worrying about him…He’s a Knight, so…he’s always in danger…"

Suzaku ... a knight? He couldn't possibly be referring to the son of the late Prime Minister who turned traitor and joined the Britannian military, could he? Suzaku was obviously a Japanese name, and for him to be a knight, there was no one else it could be. Ohgi started to wonder what he'd gotten himself into by inviting this man to dinner.

"That is true…I know eighteen is a little young to be married, but…" This wasn’t the first time someone’s mentioned age to him and he felt awkward those times too. "I’ve known Suzaku since we were ten, so I suppose that’s a start."

Lelouch felt relieved when Ohgi changed the question, because he surely knew how to answer this one. “That one’s actually simple for me to answer, thank you. I would have to say the polished wood of my piano and violin I have at home. But then there’s the keys of the piano…still fairly new.” He sighed with content.

Lelouch seemed like a very trusting person, volunteering this information about himself to a complete stranger.

"Toast it?" she repeated. "That’s a brilliant idea, Ohgi. I will definitely try that next time."

Ohgi laughed nervously again. "I have ... strange tastes when it comes to food. How about we just stick with cheese?" Ohgi pulled out his wallet and approached the country. He ordered a pizza from the Eleven behind the counter and helped Lelouch to a seat.
