"Are you so concerned with out-speaking me that your brain is tying itself into knots?"

  “I’m not the one who’s in trouble if I get discovered, am I?”

"Then explain to me exactly why the emperor wants you.”

"How so?"

  "Well, it has been awhile C.C…. where did to vanish to after all this time? or would you rather not say?"

"Why? You weren’t worried, were you?"

"I worry about those close to me C.C. I’m not the same Zero, remember?"

"I appreciate the concern, for what it's worth."

"So, uh…. Is anybody around?"

"Umm..hello there? You looking for anyone in particular?"

"Not really. I’ve just been away for a long while and doubted I’d see anyone I knew when I got back. Seems like I worry too much. Or not enough, who knows?"

"Eh, I can relate, after getting eaten and blown up a bunch of times on tons of adventures that I tend to stress out a lot sometimes to. I still wonder how I’m still around, honestly! Why are you worrying so much?"

"Abandon enough people and you begin to expect it to come just as easily to others."

  "Oh, spare me.”

"Why do I try? You don’t even care about being cautious. Do you?”

"I'm not the one who's in trouble if I get discovered, am I?"

  "I’m happy to see you, too."

"You can’t be out in the open." 

"Oh, spare me."

  "Could be. But eh, whatever. How ya been?"

"Terribly bored, mostly."

"So, uh…. Is anybody around?"

"C.C., don’t you realize how unsafe it is to be here. If the wrong people see you…"

"I'm happy to see you, too."

"So, uh…. Is anybody around?"

"Umm..hello there? You looking for anyone in particular?"
