( ♪ rachel ):
containing the sigh that’s pushing it’s way up her throat proves to be an easier task than she imagined. if it had been anyone other than blaine, she had no doubt that would have already flipped. there were so few things she asked of people. it shouldn’t be that hard to follow them. but this was blaine. he would always be able to pull at her heart strings, even when he wasn’t trying. being mad at him wasn’t something she could do.
❝ what’s wro—is that a stain? blaine! what did you do? ❞
"I didn't do anything! I took it off when I was helping with dinner to avoid splattering but apparently that wasn't enough."
All attempts to keep his voice even were null in every way; for one thing this was Rachel; he never had to try very hard when it was just the two of them. For another, the subject matter at hand was far too important. The bow tie was precious to him ( naturally it had gold stars on it ) and letting it get irreparably stained was unacceptable; hence why he began digging through their medicine cabinet for their stain removing pen.
