Santi and Marcel are like theeeeese 🤞 they're actually inseparable and outside of the bestie dynamic between MC and other ROs, their bond is one of my favorites to write!!

Linden, Jong-woo, and Kalea are a cute little trio. Very mother hen and their chickities 🥹

Dmitry and Makai will be quite close in a weird way, as are Makai and Misty.

Jong-woo and Anjali are also an unlikely duo, though I'd say she more tolerates him 😭

Sorry, this might be a bit of a silly idea I had, but I wanted to know your opinion on it (not trying to force anything, just to be clear).

I don't know if you've had many asks about possible poly pairings involving the ROs and the MC—even if it wouldn't necessarily be functional, it's kind of fun to see who fits well together and who would just be total chaos.

Like, I really like Santi and Dmitry; they're my favorite ROs so far. Even though I can picture them together in my head, I still worry it wouldn't quite work out. They're very different—maybe that's why? I don't know. But I can see Dmitry being the emotional support and source of comfort in the relationship, while Santi would be the protector—the type who shows affection by looking out for the other person (Of course, that's just my take; like I said, it's kind of silly🤭). Please let me know what you think. I'm really curious!

But naturally, the other ROs have similar dynamics too, so I wanted to know which ones would make a good match and which wouldn't.

I haven't gotten a ton of poly/throuple asks so far (outside of speculations of who Lu and MC's third is)! The main ones I've seen in my inbox are Kaijali (Kailee/Anjali) and Dmitry/Jong-woo, though neither of those would really work in canon.

Every RO does have an alternate partner if MC doesn't pair with them, but those dynamics are already set in place. The planned poly route is also already set, and I don't plan on adding any more.

Santi and Dmitry is an interesting one, though! I can see why the contrast is appealing. In canon, though, I don't really picture them together romantically. I think Santi might be a little too lax and evasive for someone like Dmitry, and Dmitry might want a kind of emotional consistency that Santi would struggle to offer, at least in the way Dmitry needs it.

It's been established that Linden is asexual and has no interest in sexual relations whatsoever.

I assume playing as asexual will be an option, so if this is spoilers, don't worry about answering lol, but if you can get away with it, I'd love to see how the ROs would feel about an asexual, sex-repulsed MC. (Or just an MC who's celibate for any number of reasons.)

The only person I can see really seeing it as a deal-breaker is Marcel, at least if the relationship is strictly monogamous, but hey! You know your characters better than I do :P

I won't go into every possible boundary or relationship setup, but I also don't want to say that being asexual, sex-repulsed, or fully celibate would never be a deal-breaker.

Linden, Anjali, and Makai would be perfectly happy in a sexless, monogamous relationship and finding other ways to be intimate with MC, whatever that looks like for the two of them.

Santi, Lu, Kailee, Misty, and Marcel would still want a sexual outlet, but they'd be more comfortable separating sex from romantic love. If MC was okay with some form of open arrangement, sleeping with someone else wouldn't inherently threaten what they feel for MC.

With Dmitry, Jong-woo, and Kalea, even if they loved MC deeply, they'd struggle with a relationship where sex was completely off the table. And "you can sleep with other people" wouldn't really solve it for them, because they wouldn't be looking for sex just to satisfy a physical need. They'd want that intimacy specifically with the person they're in love with. Depending on MC's boundaries, they may eventually have to accept that they love each other but aren't compatible long-term.

After that last ask I gotta take Kalea to a creamery so we can find her an ice cream favor she likes more instead of letting the haters get to her about her shaved ice. We can still get shaved ice for her but we have to find her ice cream she likes.

Mah wife can't be made to cry.

Kalea doesn't hate ice cream, I promise 😭 I mentioned before that if she had to choose a flavor, she'd go with ube. She just doesn't love how thirsty it makes her or the sticky feeling it leaves in her mouth afterward.

Marcel doesn't really have one specific style, or at least not one I know how to name 🤔 They just have really good control over their body and genuinely love to move. They're also into pole dancing, if we're counting that.

I agree, anon! I'm going to keep it as is. Plus, each of them have their own special introductions, and I think rushing to include them sooner would dull that experience.

If she gets embarrassed by affection, she'll deflect by messing with you physically: pushing your shoulder, stealing your hat, tugging your sleeve, pretending to shove you away while pulling you back close.

Hiya!! I don't have exact birthdays for the ROs, mostly because I've never felt the need to pin them down to a specific date, and I don't currently plan to. The closest I've gotten is assigning them zodiac signs, which you can find here 😊

That does give me a general idea of when each of them was born, though:

Kailee: A few days after Valentine's Day

Ever since I started this project, I've learned so much, and I've only fallen more in love with the concept and the characters. Hearing that other people love spending time with them too genuinely means the world to me. Messages like this keep me motivated, especially on the days where writing and stuff feels a little harder. It means so much to know my story has been able to bring you even a little comfort when you need it.

The thing is I really like your characters and I made my MC show interest (the shy/awkward ones) for one of them already, though there's 2 more I'm anxious to see, but I want to know if when things start to get more physical we can go slow without leaving them hanging. Like, will there be options to have sex and options to go slow but marked with the heart symbol or if we just want to go slow we will need to choose the platonic choices? I'm demisexual and it takes a bit of time to be comfortable about doing the deed (even if I'm a very clingy person when I like someone...idk, I just wanted to see if there would be this kind of representation.

Though I feel bad if it feels like I'm pressuring you, I know how difficult it is to do a bunch of different routes so I'm sorry if this seems like I'm asking for more

You won't have to choose platonic options just because your MC wants to take things slowly. When it gets to that point, RO scenes will include different levels of physical intimacy, so you may be able to cuddle, kiss, make out, get handsy, have sex, or stop without ending the moment entirely. Depending on the scene, stopping may route back to kissing, cuddling, or just staying close and talking.

I'm also overhauling the flirt system because I didn't like how binary it felt before. I'm introducing six flirt types that allow MC to be some combination of confident or shy, and either more physically driven or someone who prefers emotional intimacy first.
