Wait, I'm sorry I'm confused?? How would a secret admirer even work? How can the MC have a secret admirer?? Unless the first episode aired so people could meet the main cast and then only after, new people entered the show, so they'd know about MC?
I am genuinely not figuring out how it would work unless the secret admirer also made part of the main cast so they've met MC already.
Am I just dumb? Probably??
Noooo you're not dumb! I've implied the logistics before, but I haven't shared them explicitly to avoid spoiling. But the long and short of it is:
1. The other ROs are close by, waiting for their entrance day/time.
2. ROs get a briefing of each contestant so far and a curated highlight reel of what's happened so far. So not a full episode. Only what production wants them to see...
Kalea: "Oh yeah! We can work out at home!" Her smile twists into a curious frown. "Wait, what kind of cardio...? Like, jumping jacks and stuff? Or...or..." She blushes. "Oh gosh." She covers her face, muffling the rest. "I walked right into that."
Okay, since Jong-woo has the best ass in the cast, we obviously know he does hip thrusts. That being saaaid... can MC replace the barbell he's hip thrusting?? hehe and what if MC asked him that.... hypothetically...... ok sorry, I just love him and this IF <3

Which Ros would like to spoil Mc with expensive gifts such as jewellery, designer clothes and luxury holidays?
The ones who can afford it, yeah, but with a few exceptions!
Anjali and Lu 100% would. They both firmly believe money can buy happiness, and that philosophy would extend to their partner πββοΈ If they want to spoil you, they're not doing it halfway.
Dmitry would too, but not excessively. He'd rather put that money toward a happy, comfortable home. He'll splurge on luxury items or vacations here and there, especially for birthdays, anniversaries, or big milestones, but he isn't throwing money around just to prove he can.
Jong-woo would mostly do it for vacations. If you're going to relax, you might as well go big! Private tours or reservations at the best restaurants, rooms with ocean views, etc.
Wait, ohemgee, Echo, I didn't know you watched Love Island?? Bryce and Trinity when they were away at Casa felt so heart warming ππ
And don't get me started on Bryce crying because Trinity is the only one for him, LIKEβSTOPPP
I honestly wonder how they're both going to react to that...l also wish they showed that during movie night. ALSO, SPEAKING OF REACTING! How would the RO's react to MC doing that π€π€ (The crying part saying they miss them because AHHH)
(P.S. I miss you Linden)
Hi Forest!! Yes!! I was locked in to the mess, but Bryce and Trinity are adorbs - congrats to them (though I personally think Bryce and Zach were the strongest couple of the season π)
As for our WMU cast during movie night:
Anjali: Watches the clip in complete silence, expression impossible to read. For most people, anyway. You notice the soft frown. The softer eyes. As soon as the clip ends, she turns her head away and clears her throat. "A little dramatic." She sits up straighter. "Though...I appreciate the sentiment." She waits until you're alone to say anything more. "Of course I missed you." Her eyes flick over yours. "No one else is remotely as interesting."
Dmitry: Watches you cry on screen and immediately looks like someone reached into his chest and squeezed. The second he can get to you, he does, his hand finding yours. "I missed you too," he says softly. "So much." His thumb moves over your knuckles. "I just didn't want to make it harder for you."
Jong-woo: "Why are you crying?" His hands fly to his face. "Don't cry." The second you say you missed him, he makes this awful little wounded sound and folds himself into you, face buried against your neck. "I hated it," he mumbles. "I hated being away from you. Don't make me do that again."
Kailee: Starts off watching fully invested, prepared for drama. Unfortunately, your voice breaks, and her whole face changes before she can stop it. By the time the clip ends, she's dabbing at her eyes and shoving your shoulder like this is somehow your fault. "What the hell, MC." She says through a watery laugh. "Why are you so sweet?"
Kalea: Starts crying the second you start crying. It doesn't even matter if the clip is about her. The second your voice breaks, she's done for. She doesn't hear half of it because she's already launching herself into your arms, face pressed into your chest. What she says is mostly muffled, but you catch enough. "I missed you too. I missed you so much."
Linden: Tries not to react too much or give the cameras what they're waiting for. But their face softens when you say you missed them, and eventually, their hand finds yours without looking. Their thumb traces slow shapes over your skin while the rest of the clip plays. Later, when you're alone, they say, "I wish I could've been there when you felt like that." Their fingers squeeze yours. "I'm here now."
Lu: Looks smug at first. You missing them? Saying they're the only one? Beautiful. Correct. The only response you should have. It's when you start crying that all that smugness falters into something they clearly don't intend to show on camera. By the time the clip ends, they've forced their expression back into place, smile sharp as they tilt your chin up with two fingers. "You missed me that much?" Their gaze searches your face a second longer than the tease requires. "To the point of tears is a bit much, don't you think?" Their thumb brushes once beneath your chin. "Not that I'm complaining."
Makai: Watches without saying a word. He doesn't like seeing you upset, especially when he couldn't do anything about it. When the clip ends, he looks down for a second before coming to sit beside you, close enough for your shoulders to touch. "Didn't know it was that bad," he murmurs. His knee brushes yours. "Wish I could've been there."
Marcel: Starts out extremely pleased, because of course they enjoy being missed. Then they realize you were actually crying, actually hurting, and the teasing slips enough to show something much softer underneath. "Mon coeur," they say later, thumb brushing under your eye. "If you are going to break my heart on camera, the least you can do is let me hold you after."
Misty: Tries to make a joke at first, something light and stupid, but it doesn't come out right. Seeing you cry knocks her off balance, and for once, she doesn't have anything silly to say. So she just throws an arm around your shoulders, tugging you into her side. "Yeah," she says, voice rougher than usual. "Missed you too."
Santi: Watches with a soft, aching smile. They don't interrupt or tease. The second they can, they pull you close, hand warm at the back of your neck. "You were crying over me?" Then they start kissing your face, your cheek, your temple, the corner of your mouth, smiling against your skin. "What about this? Did you miss this? Don't fight it. Let me make up for all that missing."
Oh thank god Makai is a bit chunky and hairy as all hell, that's exactly what I imagined and it's exactly what I like π€π€πππ He's a mightly, juicy, delicious, spicy, seasoned, fresh, medium rare steak.
I'd so love to know how he'd even react to these words. He'd probably think I'm crazy...
Makai: "Medium rare ste--alright," His voice sounds a little rough. "That'sβ¦descriptive." He glances at the ask again. "...Take you? Take you where...? Oh." He clears his throat, muttering under his breath. "Lord have mercy..."
Would Jong-woo ever do a video that introduces the MC as his partner? Kinda like the old YouTube videos that were popular for awhile
No, probably not!
Mostly because people would already know they're dating, especially after the show and during the post-show press run.
He might occasionally have MC in one of his TikToks, but his management would be careful about making sure MC x Jong-woo doesn't become the main focus of his content. Jong-woo also wouldn't want his relationship to turn into something overly monetized or performed for engagement. He'd want to keep some parts of them just for himself π₯°

I was wondering if you could explain the black cat and golden retriever dynamic. How does it work?
Hi anon!! I'm good, but it's so hot where I live today π Hope you're having a nice day too π
Happy to explain this!
Okay, so it's based on a combination of your stats. Basically, if you regularly pick serious, callous, stubborn, and intimidating choices, your MC would read as black cat. If you consistently pick playful, friendly, easygoing, and charming choices, your MC would read as golden retriever.
I won't be introducing these labels until relationships are a little further along, probably around chapter 3 or 4, so the game has time to get a better read on your MC's personality.
I did toy with the idea of making it a string, as in setting MC as golden retriever or black cat through one choice, but I thought it'd be more interesting to let it build cumulatively through the way you play. We'll see if that was the right choice soon π
AnoNNN here. My respect for Kalea as more than just a cute fragile skrunkly went up. Girl's got willpower!
Unfortunately my MC would fail just by being around her or interacting with her. Her check ins would be MC's undoing, let alone a distraction involving her (just seeing her in their pent up state in say beachwear or even just hearing her sweet voice might make them fail on the spot).
Thanks for answering this, let me just pop another couple of asks about it before November rolls aroumd. How would the ROs react to MC failing because of them? (Like the Kalea example above) On the other hand, how would they enjoy celebrating with a super backed up successful MC ready for a marathon?
Hehe welcome back!
Kalea can definitely hold it down if she needs to, but she'd be so confused π
Anjali: She won't apologize for existing. If you cave because of her, she's flattered, obviously, but she's still arching a brow like this is a failure of discipline and she expects you to own it properly. "You're blaming me?" If you make it to the end, she wants control of the pacing. She wants to savor every second of watching you lose it. You both earned this and she's not rushing it.
Dmitry: Endlessly guilty. An embarrassing amount, honestly. He'd start trying to figure out what he did: "Was it something I said? Did I look at you like--you know?" He pauses to think, and then adds quietly, like it's just occurred to him: "β¦Is it my morning voice? You've said things about my morning voice before...I could--I don't know, clear my throat more?" If you actually succeed, though, he's going for multiple rounds. He'll be very focused, very attentive, very intent on making sure you don't leave that bed with a single complaint.
Jong-woo: He wouldn't realize he caused it at first. He'd ask what happened, listen to the explanation, then go bright red once it sinks in that just being around him was apparently enough. "Just from--what did I do? Should I do it again?" He'd be too happy and too embarrassed to know what to do with himself. If you make it through the month, he's a little overwhelmed by his own enthusiasm: all hands and questions and is this okay, is this good, loving every second of being someone's undoing for once instead of the other way around.
Kailee: Of course you failed. She definitely won't pretend she didn't enjoy making things difficult. "I told you you wouldn't last. Now, I remember we made a bet and someone owes me." If you succeed, she wants a front-row seat to the aftermath. She'd make you show her exactly how badly you wanted her before she finally decides to help.
Kalea: "Wait, it was me? I didn't even do anything!" She's just so deeply confused and in complete disbelief. If you make it to the end, she'd be surprisingly needier than usual. Being wanted after a whole month would make everything feel more intense for her too.
Linden: They'd be genuinely surprised if you failed because of them, mostly because they don't think of themself as a temptation in that way. They'd feel bad that you lost, but they'd still be flattered realizing you wanted them that badly. If you try again next year, they'll take the support role even more seriously. For the reward: a long makeout session, both of you laughing a little because a month is a long time to miss someone's mouth this much.
Lu: Not surprised. Not sorry. If you fail because of them, that's the natural consequence of attempting self-denial in their presence. "Took you long enough. Come here--we need to make up for lost time." They'd be insufferably pleased about it, especially if they know exactly what pushed you over the edge. If you succeed, though, they're almost worse. All that restraint becomes something they want to test, stretch, and ruin at their own pace.
Makai: He wouldn't gloat if you failed because of him, but there'd be a little flicker of satisfaction he wouldn't bother hiding. "...Guess I did something right. Or wrong...I dunno." If you make it through too, he's rougher, unrestrained, and a lot less patient than usual.
Marcel: If you fail because of them, they're relieved. Finally, some sense has returned to that beautiful head of yours. "Ugh, never again, mon coeur. It was unreasonably cruel." They'd be unbearable about it too; this was inevitable and you're only embarrassing yourself if you try to pretend otherwise. The celebration is excessive on purpose: new things, old favorites, anything that makes the whole month feel worth the wait.
Misty: "I win," she'd say, because she totally did. She'll tease you about it for a while, but never in a way that's cruel. If you make it to the end, she's ready to have fun with all that pent-up energy: messy, eager, laughing between kisses because she can't help herself, and very entertained by how badly you want her.
Santi: "Finally," they'd laugh between kisses to your neck. "I missed this. I missed you." Their hands are already everywhere. "Te voy a devorar." They grin against your skin. "Kidding. Mostly." If you succeed, they're not rushing the celebration. Soft kisses, slower hands, dragging it out until you're begging for it, because they've been waiting for this too and they want to take their time.
Hmm....why does this question feel so stressful to me π it's not even that serious lol
Anjali: She's not really an ice cream person. She prefers a nice mango sorbet
Dmitry: Stracciatella gelato
Jong-woo: Salted caramel
Kailee: Cookies and cream
Kalea: She also doesn't like ice cream that much. If she had to pick, it'd be ube. But she likes shave ice way more (obviously π) pineapple or raspberry flavored!
NSFW: Would any of the ROs put on a strip show for MC? (in private of course)
Linden (sfw): They'd let MC sit with them while they get ready for bed: rings off, sleeves rolled up, hair pushed back, the whole little routine. Not a performance. Still weirdly intimate for them.
As for everyone else, hell yeah!
Would:
Jong-woo: In a silly, playful burlesque kind of way. He's not taking himself seriously, which is funny because he's still extremely hot.
Kailee: Absolutely. It's a whole production. Lights, music, lingerie, the works. She's fully committed and expects to be fawned over.
Makai: Surprisingly good, even if he looks embarrassed the entire time. He gets through it on determination, eye contact, and a jaw set so tight you can tell he's one compliment away from giving up.
Marcel: Has a pole in their apartment. Next question π
Misty: So unserious. Half strip show, half comedy routine, somehow still effective.
Santi: Teasing and slow and fully aware of how good they look. Audience participation is required.
Would not:
Dmitry: Too self-conscious about his dance moves, or lack thereof π He would be much better at slowly getting MC's clothes off.
Kalea: Too embarrassed. She would rather MC just help her out of her clothes instead.
Lu: Would rather watch. Reclined, smug, making the occasional comment just to see how badly MC wants their approval π
Anjali: Also prefers to watch. If anyone's putting on a show, it's MC, and she expects them to make it worth her time.

inspired by the colours of august ask, how would the ROs react if MC unexpectedly and maybe unwantedly got pregnant? I don't think unwantedly is a word but hopefully you get what I mean. bonus points if MC tries to hide it!
I'll swap the scenario for the F!ROs! Unless MC cheated or something...I think that's a different ask entirely!
Anjali: "Shit." She stares at the positive test. "Shit." She looks in the mirror. "Shit." Perhaps the one time Anjali loses all composure is in the four walls of her bathroom. What is she supposed to do? She has plans. A timeline. A baby wasn't on it. At least not for five years. Maybe seven. She's tempted not to say anything yet. Selfishly, she wants to think on it alone. Make a decision alone, like she always does. But she knows she can't do that. Not to you. So she takes a deep breath, splashes cold water on her face, and walks out with the test in hand. "Well," she says, voice almost even. "Here we are."
Dmitry: His hands keep finding small, unnecessary tasks: straightening mail that's already straight, topping off a glass that's still full, folding a dish towel twice before setting it down. It isn't until you catch him staring, eyes soft and wet, that he finally speaks. "I'm thinking about names." He blurts out before stopping himself. "Sorry. I know it's too soon for that." He clears his throat to reset. "Whatever you decide, I'm with you completely." His eyes stay on you a second too long after he says it, the rest of the sentence sitting behind his teeth. He wants this. He wants it badly.
If you hide it, he won't confront you. That's not how he works. He'll get unnervingly formal instead. Thank you instead of a smile, distance where there used to be a hand on your back. It takes you days to realize he knows, and longer to get him to admit the silence was him trying not to say something he'd regret. "I wasn't angry," he finally says. "I was scared you didn't trust me enough to be with you in this."
Jong-woo: He's the happiest man on the planet! Because you're having a baby! This is amazing! He starts doing the math in his head--due date, due date, due date--and then stops cold. Wait. Is it amazing? Is it too soon? Are you scared? Are you upset? Oh no, he's already crying. "Sorry. Sorry, how do you feel?" His hands hover near your stomach like he wants to hold it but isn't sure he's earned that yet. "Whatever you want, I'm with you, I just--" His voice cracks around the rest of it, watery eyes drifting down. "I already love them."
If you hide it, it isn't anger he's feeling. It's pain and sadness. He'll confront you as soon as he finds out. "Did I make you feel like you couldn't tell me?" He keeps circling back to it for days. He needs to hear, more than once, that it was never because you didn't trust him.
Kailee: She looks down at the test. The tenth test, to be specific. She had to be sure. "You've got to be kidding me. Seriously? MC!" When you enter the bathroom, you find a line of pregnancy tests along the edge of the bathtub. Kailee gestures to them with a sigh. "So. We're having a baby." She swipes a curl out of her face. "God, I hope it's only one. Can you imagine if we had a set of Carries and Taras? We'd never know peace." She's panicking, but she's doing it through logistics, jokes, and immediately trying to figure out what the new plan is.
Kalea: Paces the bathroom, wringing her hands while she waits. The second the positive line fades into view, she starts crying. She's happy. She's terrified. She wanted to wait longer, but if this is happening, she won't take it lightly. She's so overwhelmed she can barely get your name out in one piece. When you come in, she goes straight into your arms, crying into your chest. You can only make out pieces of it. Pregnant. Scared. Happy. Love you.
Linden: Linden doesn't want children and wouldn't be having sex with MC, so if MC were pregnant, it would mean there were already very specific conversations and boundaries in place. Of course they'd want to know if you're okay and what you want. That will always come first. But they're honest enough to admit it also changes what they thought the shared future looked like. Pretending otherwise would just be a kinder-sounding lie.
If you hide it, they don't raise their voice, but the frustration is there. Clear. Hurt. "I know you're feeling a lot right now. I get that." They pause, choosing their words carefully. "But you should've told me. You could've told me. This changes...a lot. We should be able to face that together."
Lucia: The second the positive line appears, she throws the test into the bin. "Fuck." Pregnant? Right now? What is she supposed to do with a whole baby? Despite how put together she may seem, Lucia barely knows how to take care of herself some days. She sits on the toilet, hands braced on either side of her, staring at nothing for a few seconds too long. "MC. Get in here." When you appear in the doorway, she looks at you flatly. "I'm pregnant." It comes out too blunt, because if she lets it come out soft, she might fall apart.
Luca: Well. It was bound to happen with how fast and loose the two of you have been with protection. Kids are definitely not at the top of his priority list, but even Luca knows better than to make his panic your problem. He pulls you into him, one arm firm around your shoulders, lips pressed to your temple. "We'll figure it out."
If you hide it from him, he wouldn't get angry. Especially if you're not married. Your body, your choice. He understands that. What stings is realizing you thought he might be unreasonable about it. Or worse, that you didn't trust him not to make it about himself. "I don't care that you didn't tell me right away," he says. "I care that some part of you decided I'd make it harder. When have I ever done that to you? Why would I do that to you?"
Makai: Makai's questions aren't only about the pregnancy. They're about you. "Are you okay? Have you eaten? Do you want to sit down?" He asks too many at once, realizes it, and forces himself to slow down. "Sorry. One thing at a time." Beneath all of that are the questions he won't ask out loud yet. Could I actually do this? What if I get it wrong? He watched his father raise him alone and still isn't sure he learned the right lessons from it. But he wouldn't put that on you. So he pulls out a chair, waits until you're sitting, and asks again if you've eaten.
If you hide it, he's upset, frustrated, and scared and it makes everything sound much harsher than intended. "Why didn't you tell me?" He rubs a hand over his mouth, trying to rein himself back in. "We should be able to talk about this stuff. Together. Like we always do." He'll leave to calm down and after that, he won't push. He'll wait for you to come to him, even if waiting hurts.
Marcel: Marcel doesn't want children. Ever. So if MC were unexpectedly pregnant, Marcel wouldn't try to pretend they're secretly excited or waiting to be convinced. They'd panic, yes, but more than that, they'd need an honest conversation, like, yesterday. "Mon coeur. I love you. I need you to know that before I say anything else." They take a breath. "But I don't want to be a parent. You know this." They love MC, but they also know themself. Parenting is not a life they want, and they wouldn't lie just to make the moment easier.
If you hid it, they'd be hurt at first, then irritated underneath it, because it means you already knew this could change everything and deliberately chose not to tell them. "I already told you how I feel about children, non? So explain to me--" they hold up a hand before you can answer "--explain to me what part of honesty you thought didn't apply here. Don't I deserve that much?"
Misty: She's incredibly nervous. She's lost all her cool and you're not sure why. Her laughs are half-hearted. Her smiles don't reach as far. Whenever she thinks you're not looking, she worries her lower lip so hard you worry she'll break skin. You have to sit her down and ask what's going on before she caves. "Ha...I'm, uh, pregnant. Crazy, right?" She tries to laugh again. It doesn't work. "I'll be a horrible mom." That's her real fear. The idea that someone could need her that much and she might not be enough.
Santina: She checks the test again. Yep. Positive. She scratches her head, staring at it another second before calling out, "Mi vida! Ven acΓ‘, porfa!" She hides it behind her back when you come in, which is very suspicious because Santina isn't even trying to look normal. "Question," she says. "You like babies, right? Like, in theory. Or maybe not in theory." She's been around babies, pregnancy, childcare all her life. She knows how this works. She just needs to know where your heart is before she lets herself get excited.
Santiago: Goes extremely quiet in a way that doesn't really suit him. No jokes or teasing, not even his usual deflection. It's almost unsettling. "Ay, mi vida, I should've been more careful." He presses a kiss to your cheek, one hand hovering near your stomach without touching until he's sure it's okay. "What do you want, hm? We'll do whatever you want." Days later, you'll catch him lingering a little too long at a shop window full of baby shoes, and he'll pretend he wasn't looking.
If you hide it, he notices something's off before he knows what it is. He doesn't push. But once he finds out, the hurt is plain. "You didn't owe me an answer right away," he says. "I just hate that you were scared alone. You know I would've dropped everything for you."

May or may not be inspired by real events π₯²
Hi anon π I hope you're having a good day/night tooo
Okay, first off, screw that person. I hope they get an eyelash stuck in their eye forever π€
(and I hope things are okay on your end too -- sending good vibes your way π)
Anjali: She scoffs. "My partner has taste, discipline, a functioning brain, and the good sense not to beg for attention from someone already taken." Her eyes move over them once, pitiless. "As if I'd ever consider trading down. Piss off."
Dmitry: The polite mask doesn't slip, but his voice goes flat and formal. "That's not something I need your input on." He keeps his eyes on them for one more second, just long enough to make it uncomfortable. "Please don't speak about them again."
Jong-woo: Actual confusion, head tilt and everything. "Wait, what? No--they're perfect. You don't even know them." He's baffled someone would say that with a straight face. Eventually, the confusion fades into something firmer. "You should go."
Kailee: Her smile stays picture-perfect the entire time. "Oh, wow." She says it so sweetly it almost sounds genunine. "If I wanted someone desperate and badly dressed, I'm sure I'd have noticed you by now. You can go now."
Kalea: She looks hurt for half a second, then disappointed. "That's a really mean thing to say about someone you don't know." And if they try to laugh it off, she doesn't. "I'm not interested in you, and insulting my partner isn't going to change that. Can you go now? Please?"
Linden: "I'm not going to dignify that with a response." Their expression stays calm, but there's no warmth left in it. "Putting someone down to make yourself look better is...not a good look." Then they leave, because the person has already made themself very easy to dismiss.
Lu: "Say that again." And if the person has the nerve to keep smiling, Lu steps closer, voice low. "No, really. I want to see if you're stupid enough to insult my partner twice while I'm standing right here."
Makai: His jaw sets, fists curling once before he consciously unclenches them. For a second, it looks like he might say something. Then he just turns and leaves. They're not worth it, and he's not giving them the satisfaction of seeing they got to him.
Marcel: They turn slowly, eyebrows lifting. "Oh, I see." They smile, small and mean. "You thought if you insulted them, I'd lower my standards all the way down to you. Funny."
Misty: She doesn't even look up right away. When she finally does, the grin on her face is not the fun one. "You got about three seconds to walk that back." And if they don't? She's ready to throw hands.
Santi: The charm drops right off their face. "Don't talk about them like that." Simple, flat, no smile. If the person tries to play it off, Santi's eyes narrow. "No, no. You said what you said. Now get out of my face before I stop being polite."
