Dearest Ciar, 

      Believe it or not, the ‘dearest’ is lacking in it’s usual sarcasm. Perhaps because I am filled with cheer that nothing could ruin. There is much more than this as your gift. Last year it was a silly little dragon toy. This year I am offering you more.         For starters, an ugly Christmas sweater. I have found that the tradition of the hideous winter wear on this holiday is one of my favorites. I am certain you’ll never wear it but it doesn’t hurt to try. The glass because I thought it was rather cleaver for you and your trade. And mulled wine as is tradition with an Eveleen. Maybe it will make you more tolerable of me during the winter season.

       I also promise that I will not freeze your lake this winter. As you may have noticed there has been no ice even touching your lake. I’d like to think this is one of the best gifts I could possibly give you.

      And pay no mind to the rattle. It could have many meanings, it could just be something I threw in the box. Guess if you really want to know you will ask.
