tried out my human techno design again

Yeah I have a super bad Nicky and Aaron brain rot right now but like, specifically when they were both in the basement. Like why did they have to stop the book right when their relation ship was at its peek 😭 like I kinda wanted to know if Aaron was genuinely happy to see Nicky come for him after all that has happened and after he told him to stay away. They haven’t seen each other for like a year, so they couldn’t just ignore each other and fight the entire time. But I guess we just have to leave that part to the imagination. Personally I like to think (based off the last chapter on buried secrets and how they acted) Aaron was just a mess, clearly Aaron was dealing with the guilt of what had happened to Mya and was clearly upset about what had happened and I’m sure Ted wasn’t helping. In fact he probably made it worse. So it’s very obvious Aaron was dealing with a lot more than he could take and had no one to help and be there for him. In the first book he showed signs of trusting Nicky more than what he did his other friends and looked at at Nicky for comfort and help, the lines “have you ever thought you were... bad?” And “ so how do you know you did something wrong” give me that detail. (He never opened up to many people or showed signs of weakness to anyone So personally I think the entire part when they are with each other in the basement is just a lot of Nicky providing emotional support to Aaron and Aaron trying to deny it because he simply just didn’t feel he deserved it. I don’t know. Maybe that’s just me, what do you all think? I’m totally up to here in the comments! Also if yo(I don’t know how to properly reply to comments so I promise I see them, I just won’t respond)
