or the next events from the stars' point of view
Since rogue planets are going to liberate all planets from their stars, what will happen to last ones? In more humane case they all will be thrown to interstellar space. So let's imagine next events from this point on from their perspective.
At first, Sol will be alone with himself, with his thoughts... Someone have probably already made a post about their vision of "The Lonely Sun" or "The Sun redemption" arc, so I want to talk about other moments and let's move on.
Meeting old acquaintances
The Sun's solitude will be interrupted by Alpha and Proxima Centauri. The fact that they will be the first stars we will see (again) makes sense in several ways. They can discuss both the past and the present. The conversation may not be easy, but let's imagine that Sol will go with them to search for other stars.
The four dwarfs will meet stars we haven't seen in the show. First, Barnard's star (I even have an idea of how he will appear. If you want, I’ll tell you), Sirius A and B, may be some more, but not too many. We may see Arcturus later, as there are still some interesting stars closer to the Sun. So, a long-awaited discussion will begin with... (This is a sketch, don't judge strictly)
"What in a universe are these rogue balls even doing?"
"We have to get our planets back!"
"Hey, wait. Why do we even need planets? All this time we were surrounded by them, without freedom of movement. Now we are free! And we don't have to worry about accidentally crushing anyone."
"But I will miss my planets..."
"Listen, if they complain that we're big and scary fireballs, then let them go. Let the rogue planets take care of them. It's not your fault you were born this way... Anyway, we all have a wonderful opportunity to get to know each other! Let me introduce myself..."
From this point soon the stars are deciding to build a star club.
From an educational point of view, stars can tell a LOT about themselves: radius, mass, distance from the Sun, class, luminosity, speed of movement, age, which constellation or asterism (for example, the winter triangle) are they belonging and other things! We can see more interesting stars! They may relax, have fun and talk about their problems...
Some stars (including the Sun) may share each other about planets that once orbited them. The longing for planets (and life on some of them) may return to them again. Someone will just seek revenge on the rogues. Star club will grow up and then they can do something. I hope it won't come to war 💀, but I would like to see trials of planets against stars. Heavy brown dwarfs (nor planets or stars kinda, like Teide 1) may act as mediators.
Again, this is a theory. Or a sketch. Do you think Star club would be an amazing arc?
