If you've been in my circle lately you know that I've been fighting alot of things. A few people have been able to make me feel better about it all. While I've decided it best to stay away from alot of others I used to be close with. I got introduced to the group #TwentyOnePilots pretty recently but I can say that for the first time in a long time I've found some music that's been therapeutic. It was a beautiful day today so I decided to walk my dog. This usually consists of me listening to music while she just walks ahead and sniffs at random plants. Well my headphones are broken so that meant I needed a new pastime. So, I talked to the dog. Sure she probably didn't understand my complicated thoughts but it was good to just vent. The part of the conversation that I remembered was the part of us talkin about my future in music. Over the last 18 months I've released three music projects knowing daggone well that only a handful of people would listen. I couldn't figure out why I do it. Well Mercy, (my dog) looked at me and the expression she gave me was "you may love music but the only result your gonna get with your current way of doing it is proving how crazy you are"......ok so maaaaayybe they didn't say all that but the point is that. I need to do more for myself if I hope to become any type of successful. That means I need to spread out and let people hear my "art" before I throw it out. And when I do I need to let people know its out there. Because when you do something and only the same few people are caring your basically wasting your time. Who know walks with the dog could be so inspirational. Thanks Mercy!! 🐶♥
