A portrait I shot using a Yashica Mat 124g of a shop keeper in Brighton.Â
A shop keeper on a small stand in Brighton lanes.
Shot on Kodak Portra using a Yashica Mat 124g then scanned on an Epson Flatbed.
After working collaboratively shooting on a Yashica Mat 124g for work to go onto The Photographers Retrospective I decided that I would dig out some older portraits that I took in a similar fashion and using the same technique.

Street Portraits - Matt Leeves & Nathan Cutler
We recently decided to go shoot some street portraits around Brighton as a very small collaberative project. We were interested in how our results could be so different when using exactly the same equipment.
Over the next few days we will be uploading a selection of the portraits we have captured along with which one of us took each image.

Some work from my religion project that has just been posted on The Photographers Retrospective.
Working with other photographers we have started a new blog that aims to bring you a selection of contemporary and traditional photographic talent.
We are currently looking for new artists to work collaboratively with and show their work so check out that blog and submit!

Along side the main photos from my religion series where I captured the public and main views in the religious places I captured some sense which i thought were more private and quite for private reflection.Â
I found it interesting to look at both sides of religion; both the grander with large displays of faith and also less known places that are more personal.Â
This image is from Middle Street Synagogue and you can see the main images from this location here.
