Light from the heaven by Liang Li Via Flickr: This was the most intense and dramatic light ray I've ever seen. It happened so unexpectedly during one of my backpacking trip this past summer. We started our day with a clear sky and it was almost too hot to hike and climb 4500 feet gain to our camp. We chilled by the lake and as sunset approached, cloud started to roll in. A few of us chose to scramble up to the top of a mountain near us to have a better view and I am glad we did. As we stood there, we had view to almost infinity and this moment came right after the sun dipped under those low cloud. Wow what a day!
