I have done something very brave today. I am very proud of myself☺️
Going to university was, hands down, the best decision I have ever made, and I have met some amazing people and made friends for life. However I didn’t realise just how hard making friends would be. It’s a personal struggle, as I have discovered that I’m a rather socially awkward person when I’m with people I don’t know and that has hindered me making friends on my course at university. So, I decided in my second year of uni I would push myself out of my comfort zone and try my best to meet new people and make new friends, and today I booked to go to Berlin with the English society with some girls from one of my seminar groups last semester. This will seem like such a small thing for some people but I feel so brave, pushing myself that little further out of my comfort zone, and I know it’s going to be so great and I’ll make more friends for life 🤞
