I LOVE THIS

will never not be in awe of the way taylor can turn a super personal experience into a song that is universally relatable and can be applied to anyone’s life in the way each person chooses to interpret it

like the way both of these deluxe tracks are so specific to taylor’s fame and record deal and 15 year relationship with her boss and it all ending but these songs also sounds like a song about heartbreak after a long-term relationship with some guy and its a song that can be understood by someone who has never been in a romantic relationship but maybe had a bad/weird falling out with a best friend…. like there’s no one that can’t relate to the bigger message of these songs and that’s so incredible!!! taylor’s been doing this her entire career and im still amazed by it ugh

“did you ever hear about the girl who got frozen time went on for everybody else she won’t know it, she’s still 23 inside her fantasy” in right where you left me and “there’s this thing people say about celebrities, that they’re frozen at the age they got famous. i had a lot of growing up to do just to try and catch up to 29” in miss americana…….. my heart
