Heart Rate!
Harry was on Grimmyâs show once again, for like the millionth time. It wasnât a special occasion, at least as far as Harry knew. Nick had told him he just wanted to check in with him, let people know what he was up to. It was unusual, but what in their relationship wasnât.
Of course you had joined him and were now sitting behind the glass, seperating the audio booth from the control room.
âNow, I brought back a friend of yours, because you enjoyed it so much the last time.â, Grimmy was currently telling Harry with a laugh.
Harry groaned when he saw the heart rate monitor.
âNot again.â, he said, shaking his head and shooting you a look, silently calling for help.
You just laughed, while nervously playing with the hem of your shirt. Lou put a hand on your shoulder, soothing you.
âItâll be fine, hun.â, she told you, giving you an encouraging smile.
You nodded hastily. You were glad the monitor wasnât hooked up to you right now, because you were certain your heart rate would tell everyone just how nervous you actually were.
âLetâs start with something simple.â, Nick said, after Harry had been prepared and the monitor was ready.
He held up a picture of a puppy, making Harry smile.
âCute.â, he chuckled.
âStaying steady in the face of an adorable puppy.â, Grimmy commented for the benefit of those listening at home.
âIâm more of a cat person.â, Harry explained.
They both looked at you and you nodded in affirmation.
âWell then.â
Grimmy continued with a few more pictures that barely had an affect on Harry, which to you wasnât suprising, since you had been the one to pick the pictures.
Finally things got interesting when it came to the next picture.
âAah, beautiful, wonderful.â, he turned it to Harry, âWhat about your lovely fiancĂŠe?â
Harry grinned and the numbers on the monitor went up quite a bit, to a good 95.
You smiled at him through the glass as his eyes found yours.
âStill makes my heart beat faster.â, Harry said, more to you than to anyone.
You blew him a kiss.
âUgh, too much cheesiness, letâs move on.â
You held your breath.
âNow, Harold, what do you think of this?â Grimmy turned the next picture.
Harry frowned for a moment, then his eyes widened.
âIs thatâŚ?â, he stuttered, looking from Nick to you again.
You smiled broadly and gave a nod.
âOh my gosh!â
The monitor gave a loud beeping, because Harryâs heart rate was through the roof.
âThis, ladies and gentlemen, is Harry Stylesâ reaction to realizing heâs gonna be a dad.â, Grimmy explained, turning the picture so the camera could see it. It was a sonogram of yours and Harryâs first child.
Harry had tears in his eyes and broke out in a hysterical fit of laughter, covering his eyes with his hand and turning from the microphone.
âOh gosh.â
When he came back up, he shook his head with a laugh.
âI hate you all so much.â, he said, with a glance over at you and his friends behind the glass.
You were laughing as well, tears in your eyes.
âWell, go on! Go kiss your baby mama!â, Grimmy told him.
He didnât have to tell Harry twice. He jumped up, ran for the door and into the control room. You had barely gotten up, when he already scooped you up and gave you a bone crushing hug. You slapped his arms.
âWatch it! Donât squish the baby.â, you reprimanded him with a laugh.
He immediately let go, just gently holding onto your shoulders.
âI love you so much.â, he said, then kissed you with a smile.

Work Harder - MC (Smut)
I was just trapped in the car for three hours driving so naturally Iâm just jamming and San Francisco comes on and Michaelâs solo makes me lose my shit bc god damn his voice is just so deep and husky and makes me want to toss myself off a building and this is the result. This is the first ever smut Iâve posted so pls be nice
Itâs a lazy day, miraculously, for both you and Michael. Neither of you had any appointments or obligations, school or work today. Unsurprisingly, the two of you hadnât made it out of bed until well after noon and even then, you both had just migrated to the couch in the living room of your small apartment.
Youâve got your bed propped up against the arm of your sofa and legs spread across the cushions. One arm is bent at the elbow and balancing on the arm of the sofa, head held up by the palm of your hand. Michaelâs made you his pillow for the day. When he had emerged from the bathroom earlier, he promptly situated himself between the space of your legs, bare torso pressed against your lower body and head pillowed on your chest. His arms are tucked behind your back, fingers occasionally pressing into the muscles of it.
At this moment, Michaelâs got his face hidden in the fabric of your oversized sweater and he chuckles to himself the more he nuzzles into the valley of your breasts. While youâre thinking of taking a shower, heâs definitely thinking about the fact that heâs basically motorboating you while he does so. You roll your eyes, your other hand running itâs course through the dyed locks of his hair.
You scratch down the nape of his neck, âYouâre five.â Â
Michael turns his head from where heâs tucked it and rests one side against your boob again. He looks at you out of the corner of his one visible eye, grin already to start stretch over his face. âYeah, five year old with a huge dick.â
A loud snort leaves you before you can stop it and then soon youâre more cackling than laughing. âI take that back. Youâre not just five. Youâre five and disgusting.â
He picks his head up to glare at you, âYou were definitely not saying that when you had my head between your legs the other night.â
You flick him on the forehead and he yelps, hand coming up to rub at the tiny red spot on his pale forehead. When heâs done whining at you, you put on a show and shrug, pretending to be indifferent. âEh, Iâve had better.â
Itâs a struggle to keep a straight face when you turn your head back to face the TV because Michaelâs looking at you with a scandalized face, jaw slack and eyes wide as he processes what you just said. It takes a moment before his expression shifts, eyes slitting and jaw clenching, hand the was pressed to his forehead falling to grasp at your waist.
âOh? You have?â His tone of his voice has dropped to one youâve never heard before. Itâs no longer light or filled with amusement. Itâs passed his normal husky tone you hear in the morning or after heâs come back from rehearsals or the studio. No, this one is deeper than that. Itâs smooth as the words fall off his tongue, and thereâs a rasp to his words. His accent has gotten thicker and you find yourself clenching your thighs together, lost in the haze of his voice and forgetting heâs trapped between them.
ЧиŃаŃŃ Đ´Đ°ĐťŃŃĐľ
but can you just imagine michael coming home from a hard day at the studio and he just feels so tired he barely even say something. he enters his flat and sees you waiting for him on the couch, making a tired smile grow on his face cause he wasnât expecting you there and you decided to make him a surprise. only by his eyes you can see how exhausted he is, so you take his hand and guide him to the bedroom where you strip his and your clothes off, going straight to the shower. the hot water makes contact with his pale skin and he feels way more relaxed and you feel that his muscles arenât tense like they were before when he hugs your waist and just hides his face on the side of your neck, feeling the water just run through yallâs bodies. you feel plenty of kisses being placed where his lips found your collarbone while you take the shampoo so you can shower him and he doesnât have to do anything cause you love him so much and just want to see him rested and relaxed and yES GIVE ME MICHAEL FEELS BINCH

His wedding day (you arenât the bride)
Requested: yes
Description: the titles pretty self explanatoryÂ
Word count: Just under 2k
It was supposed to be the happiest day of his life. He would have that permanent bond with Zoe. He would see the family he so desperately missed. He would get to spend an eternity remembering this day. Heâd remember the small flower girls and the groomsmen and the bridesmaids. Yes, Michael Clifford was getting married.
And everyone was so overly excited, waiting in the pews of the small chapel or the designated area for bridesmaids or groomsmen. Except for her.
You waited in the area where groomsmen were. Mostly because Zoe refused you to be a bridesmaid. But Michael had played it off saying âoh you wouldâve been a groomsmen anywaysâ. You knew it wasnât true, but you wouldnât miss being in his wedding for the world.
Of course, youâd always hoped youâd be the bride. You were so hopelessly in love with him, youâd never guessed how he didnât realize. Ashton was the only one who had picked up on your flirty banter, your loving stares, and your feelings of jealousy whenever Zoe was around. You hated the way they acted together. You wished so badly it was you feeding him off of your fork, cuddling him, and laughing with him. You wanted him so badly, but you canât always get what you want.
You sat in one of the chairs they had set up in the room, staring blankly at the floor. This was it: youâd had your chance to say something about your feelings, and you didnât. âExcited?â Calum asked Michael. Michael was fixing his tie in the mirror as a slight smile escaped onto his face. Obviously he was excited. Who wouldnât be happy to marry a model-like girl such as Zoe.
âYeah, mate. I canât believe itâs finally happening. Sheâs the only girl Iâve ever loved like this. She makes me so happy, Cal,â he smiled. Calum laughed and they continued their conversation about how fit Zoe was. You had to force yourself not to eavesdrop anymore. You didnât want to literally vomit from the sick feeling you get in your stomach when her name is mentioned.
â(y/n), are you alright?â Ashton quietly whispered in your ear when he sat down next to you. There were tears in your eyes and a lump in your throat, so you did what was best and just shook your head ânoâ. Ashton took your hand in his, rubbing soothing circles with his thumb. âYouâll be alright,â he comforted. But you wouldnât be.
How were you supposed to sit through hours of a ceremony attaching Michael to the love of his love? How were you supposed to be friends with Michael ever again? You had no clue how youâd even cope. You loved Michael, and he loved some one else.
âIâm going for a walk,â you abruptly blurted out, standing up and running off. You had to get out. You couldnât sit there for another moment listening to Michael and Calum.
âI got it,â Ashton spoke firmly to Michael who was about to run after you. Ash knew that Michael going after you, wouldnât help your situation in the slightest.
And he eventually found you, sulking on a bench in the garden area.
â(y/n),â Ashton said with a pleading tone to his voice. He pulled you in with out hesitation, wrapping his strong arms around you. But they werenât as comforting as Michaelâs arms. Nothing compared to him.
âAsh, I-I canât do it,â you cried, into his chest. The makeup you had gotten professionally done was washing away with every fallen tear. But why would you care? The only person at this wedding to impress was the groom and he had Zoe.
âListen to me,â he spoke into your hair. You tilted your chin up, straightening yourself out, but still sulking. âYouâve made it this far. You can do it. Michael would be broken if you left,â Â Ashton explained.
âIâm going to be broken if I stay,â you whispered.
âIâm not letting you leave,â he firmly said, wiping tears from your cheeks.
âPlease let me go,â you sobbed, putting your head into your hands. âIt hurts too much, Ash. I love him and I canât watch him be happy and in love with her,â
And then Ashtonâs body tensed, making you feel uncomfortable entangled with his body. Then you heard some one clear their throat. It was none other than Michael. Your eyes went wide. How much has he heard? Does he care? No, (y/n), of course he doesnât.
âWeddings about to start,â Michael awkwardly spoke, before you could say anything you heard his heavy foot steps fade away in the direction of the chapel.
After a moment of awkward tension between you two, you whispered to Ashton,âHow much do you think he heard?â
âHe heard enough to know,â Ashton sighed. âCâmon, we donât want to miss this,â he said lightly. He was the first to get up, gently pushing your body off of him. You did want to miss this wedding, so badly. You wished it was all a dream-no a nightmare-, but this was reality. And in reality Michael and Zoe were getting married.
You sat next to all of the boys in the front row, getting a clear view of Michael. Damn, did he look great in a tux.You could hear his heavy breathing and his sighs. The way his fists were balled together and the way his foot was gently tapping, you could tell he was nervous. You looked at him, biting your lip gently. And his head slightly turned towards you. He gave you a small smile, but it was so sympathetic. He knew you loved him now, and every thing had changed. Shit, youâd been staring too long.
You turned towards the other 3 boys, to find them already looking at you with comforting eyes and gentle smiles. âWe know, (y/n), it was so obvious,â Luke smiled lightly, trying to bring his humor into this.
âApparently not as obvious to him,â you mumbled, as the cheesy classic wedding song started playing on the piano. Ashton grabbed your hand for comfort, as he saw you look down with devastation.
Zoe was last down the aisle with her dad clinging to her arm. You couldnât bear to look at her. Your eyes were too glassy and if you looked up some one would for sure notice. âYouâll be okay,â Ashton whispered to you. And yeah, maybe you would be eventually.
You glanced up to see Michael one more time. You just wanted to capture what he looked like one last time before Zoe came into the picture. You glanced up through your tearing eyes, and saw him staring at you. Not staring at Zoe. You briefly made eye contact, before his eyes wandered away from you, and onto her.
âAshton, I canât,â you whispered harshly to him, your voice on the verge of breaking. âI have to leave,â
And this time Ashton let you. So you hurriedly waved to the boys and excused yourself. As you made it to the back of the church with out causing a big distraction, you looked back one more time. Michael was holding her hands with a fake smile on his face, but he was watching your every step. Little did you know, each time you came closer to the door, his heart broke even more.
You were crying- sobbing- by the time you ran down the marble church steps. You sniffled and wiped your nose, trying to keep some composure. You found a small sitting area adjacent to the stairs. You sat on a bench, not caring if your pale pink dress would be stained. You sobbed into your hands, just waiting for this day to be over. Your heart couldnât handle it anymore.
â(y/n),â an out of breath accented voice called out your name. No, it couldnât be. Your head whipped up, immediately you wiped the tears freely flowing. A few feet away, stood your best friend- the groom.
âMichael?â you questioned harshly. He was supposed to be inside. He was supposed to be getting married and saying his vows. âOh my god, there you are,â he sighed in relief. He sat down next to you, almost too close for comfort. His eyes were scanning you.
âShouldnât you be in there?â you falsely smiled. You looked into his pale green eyes. the same ones that could read right through you.
âShouldnât you be in there too? I stopped the wedding to make sure you were okayâ he remarked. He bit his lip. The silence between you two was so unnerving. You fumbled with your hands, looking for some type of distraction.
âYeah, I erm just needed air,â you spoke quietly. âYou can go back in, Iâll be there in a minute,â
âWe need to talkâŚ. about what I overheard,â he sighed. Gently, he put his arm around your shoulders.
âIt doesnât matter. Iâm too late. Itâs your wedding day for god sakes,â you shouted, throwing your hands into the air, as tears welled in your eyes.
â(y/n) if you wouldâve told me it would be different,â he explained.
âDifferent?â you scoffed. âHow?â
âI wouldnât be with her because I wouldâve told you I loved you back,â he yelled, silencing you. Did he just say what youâve been waiting for all this time? Now on his wedding day, he decides to tell you.
âYou what?â you whispered in disbelief.
âIt wasnât supposed to come out like this. It wasnât supposed to come out at all,â he mumbled to himself. Michael got up and started pacing back and forth in front of the bench.
âYou should go back in there,â you told him. No matter how much it hurt you, you would always put Michael first. His happiness was what was important to you.
âNo, I canât,â he snapped at you. The frustration was evident in his eyes. You were taken back by his tone, but you understood. âSorry, Iâm just so torn. I love you and I guess I just thought youâd never feel that way and now that you do, I donât know what to do,â he rambled on.
âIâm gonna go in there and postpone the wedding. Itâll buy me some time to think,â he told you. Before you had  a chance to say anything, he ran in the other direction towards the church.
A happy feeling rose inside of you. Maybe there was a chance you and Michael would end up together.
It had been 10 minutes and Michael still hadnât come out of the church. It surely didnât take this long to postpone a wedding. Curious, you went back into the church. You expected to find Michael speaking to Zoe privately, but what you saw was so unexpected. The sight made you sick to your stomach.
âYou may now kiss the bride,â the priest announced as everyone clapped with joy. And Michael leaned in and sealed their love with a passionate kiss.
You sunk down onto your knees drowning in sorrow, hoping this wasnât really happening. Was this some sick joke?
But it wasnât. Michael had married Zoe. There was no more hope.Â
