Oscar wasn’t really much of a coffee guy anymore. He weaned himself off after too many nights of too many cups. But he’d been up the entire night before not realizing the sun was coming up behind his head. He’d gone to grab something from the little shop he’d yet to visit. Not that he liked the taste, but he needed something if he was going to survive the day. As he walked in, eyes still glazed over with sleep he’d yet to chase away, he glanced up and saw a familiar face. Immediately he perked up, it was the same girl he’d seen time and time again around town. He didn’t know her name, and by this point he was sure he was freaking her out whenever they saw each other. He’d been about to raise his hand to wave to her as he always did, but before he could, something rolled and hit his foot. He looked down to see a little toy mouse. Not even questioning it, he bent down to pick it up, standing back up with a tired smile. “Hello again! I guess this is yours?” he held it out to her at arms length, not wanting her to feel like he was trying to encroach on her personal space. “Long night for you too?” Mentally he cringed at himself. Could he ask a dumber question?

a soft blush covered her cheeks, her embarrassment drowning any feeling she could’ve possibly be feeling. she loved her cats, that was no secret, but being seen in public buying squeaky toys was completely damaging to her image - not that she cared, but still. without replying, natalia pushed the other mice deeper into her purse, before snatching the toy form his hand slightly harsher than she had intended, the lack of sleep taking its toll. the energy the other irradiated was too much for her, and just by hearing him she knew he would, in five minutes, fill her social quota of three weeks. still, she had to give it to him. he seemed... okay, and in all their encounters he’d tried to be nice to her despite her tendency to run away when things got too chatty. maybe she could stay a few minutes before running back to bed.       ‘ um. ’        a mumble, suddenly aware of the burning sensation on her eyes from the lack of sleep, and she cursed her past self for forgetting to put on some concealer over her eyebags.       ‘ i got off work later than i expected.  ’

natalia: if you go to the lake on the full moon there's babies made of water that will chase you around

natalia: they'll try to grab your ankles and drag you back to the lake to eat your knees

Enjoying a fun night out down in Cherry Bomb Circle Lena braced herself for the chilly spring air. Although moving to Georgia had warmed her a bit, it still got chilly at night. Being she was in a short skirt and crop top herself she wrapped her leather jacket tight around her torso to keep the air out. As she crossed to cut through the side alley she noticed a guy staring at one of the employee’s who had seemed to be taking a break or done for the night. Walking closer the alcohol that coursed through her veins made this sight infuriating. As she got closer she was taken back by the girls voice. “Oh no I wasn’t staring at you sweet girl.” she assured her with a warm smile. “I was eyeing this creep who clearly can’t. Mind.His.Own.” she said punctuating each word and saying it loudly for him to hear. “Do you wanna get out of here, it’s freezing and this guy is a werido.” she laughed but making sure to keep an eye on the stranger. “I’m Lena. By the way.. I know stranger danger.” 

           sweet girl ?  her words made her look up at her, then quickly turning her head to the side to look at the man as he struggled to scramble away. typical. it wouldn’t be a full shift if a random, entitled guy who wanted his way with her didn’t follow her outside. normally she’d just pepper spray them with a good kick to the balls, but she appreciated the verbal confrontation from the other girl.     ‘ uhm. natalia. ’        despite her rough exterior, it was easy to see loud personalities made her shy side flourish, her hands fidgeted with her now blocked phone. she’d hoped to scramble home and call it a night, her feet sore from the heels and her body covered in already cold sweat from the heat of the stage spotlights, but she couldn’t just leave the other girl alone ; especially after she’d just yelled at a stranger for her. natalia shifted awkwardly, her left hand eventually landing on her motorcycle’s seat.        ‘ i can give you a ride home if you’d like ... ?  ’
