the clinking noise of heels against the pavement could be heard from the whole block. she wasn’t exactly late or anything --- she’d managed to switch her shift from wednesday to work a double shift on saturday. but still, natalia was one of those people who hated walking slowly, moving down to the street if she happened to be stuck behind a slow walker. her mind was filled with the chores she had to do for the day; being usually asleep during the morning and early afternoon meant that she had to use her free days to the fullest, getting groceries, go to the farmers market, the pharmacy --- her thoughts came to a halt when someone crossed paths with her, bumping into the other a little harder than she’d liked, a small oww  escaping her lips as her hand reached up to her sore nose.    ‘ sorry ---- ’    she started, looking up and stopping when she saw it was her friend.    ‘ ah-- um -- i didn’t see you, dom. ’      @domcorderioÂ
