It is more likely that they don't have a constantly-running ENERGY SINK that you do have - their energy costs are lower, so they have more left over for things and stuff.

I say this as a person with several constantly-running ENERGY SINKS that I am not able to turn off.

So like, you know how your brain is only 2% of your body mass but uses up around 20% of the oxygen and calories you burn?

I think.. so much.. about so much stuff... All the time. and it's almost never anything relevant or useful. But i'm thinking SO HARD about it. And then i have to use my brain to fight itself to think about useful and relevant things - like about what i'm actually doing.

Which means my stupid energy hog brain is in double overdrive just to, like, get dressed or whatever. Every minute that i'm awake. And so i'm already exhausted by the time i've gotten ready to start my day.

i can't imagine having chronic pain or something else going on too jfc
